## About The Property

A luxury converted pub is bound to be a hit with friends and 3 generation families wanting to get together for a reunion or for a special occasion. Black Swan Manor, a holiday house in Kendal, ticks all the boxes, with a quirky basement cave bar, home cinema, games room, arcades, and the all essential Jacuzzi hot tub. Located in the heart of the town, Black Swan Manor is also a great base for exploring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales - as well as being a fabulously comfortable house for just sitting back and relaxing. The house retains many features of the original pub but has been designed to include plenty of modern conveniences and opportunities for fun.

The various original bar areas on the ground floor make for sociable open plan living. The kitchen and inside dining table are well set up for cooking and eating together and a stylish lounge perfect for chilling out and taking in the beautiful countryside views through a large picture window. And the basement is absolutely full of surprises. A distinctive cave bar provides a wonderful party space for dancing and drinks, there's a games room for pool and a home cinema to boot, football table, & full size photo booth.

The outside courtyard is a lovely space with a masonry BBQ, stone pizza oven, with an outdoor dining / lounge area, and large hot tub, ice bath, sauna.

Sit in the bubbles with a glass of fizz and catch up with mates.

Doesn't get much better than that.

Upstairs, accommodation is across 2 floors. Bedrooms are elegant and spacious with stylish decor and soft furnishings. 4 poster beds and contemporary chandeliers add to the unique design features, creating a retreat feel perfect for unwinding at the end of a day out.

Kendal is a busy little market town, full of arts events and culture, with its own castle and lots of interesting shops and cafes on the doorstep for guests staying at Black Swan Manor. Windermere is under an hour away, a magnet for keen walkers, cyclists and water sport enthusiasts. In the other direction, head to the Yorkshire Dales for more stunning scenery and fell climbs. Or the coast can be reached in an hour for beaches such as Morecombe and Millom.
