Blackdown Views lies on the border between Devon and Somerset with good road links and is a fantastic base for exploring the area. This impressive eco holiday house in the Blackdown Hills has been designed to create fabulous open plan living with bi-fold doors opening onto a verandah, hot tub, enclosed garden and countryside views. It is a good choice for friends and multi generation groups with 2 ground floor bedrooms and a Shepherds Hut  that sleeps a further 2 can be hired at an additional charge for some peace and privacy away from the others. Underfloor heating and a wood burning stove ensure maximum comfort and luxury in any season.

Eating together at the house is all part of the fun, inside or outside, depending on the weather. The kitchen is well set up for preparing meals or for a chef to come in and cook for a special occasion. The double height lounge is one of the highlights of Blackdown Views, bringing light flooding in through enormous floor to ceiling windows. Seamless open plan layout ensures maximum sociability with options for spending valuable time with loved ones.

The configuration of bedrooms works well for a mixed group. 2 ground floor rooms, 1 with wet room, may be handy for anyone who has limited mobility. The balcony in the 1st floor double is a lovely spot for morning coffee. Accommodation exudes style and elegance with attractive soft furnishings. 2 bedrooms are en suite and there is a modern family bathroom complete with bath and shower over.

Private fishing is available at Marlpit, exclusive to guests staying at Blackdown Views. Extra fishing in a 2 further lakes is available. There are walks from the door through the Blackdown Hills and no shortage of places to explore further afield. Bickleigh Castle is 35 minutes away with stunning open gardens and a tearoom. Drop into Tiverton and take a stroll along the Grand Western Canal to see the horse drawn barges. Bridport and Sidmouth beaches are an hour's drive for a day by the seaside.

For larger groups, there is more accommodation for up to 45 available at South Farm nearby.
