We are at the head of Loch Linnhe at the start of the Great Glen Ways – by boat, boot or bike with access to great paddling opportunities on our local rivers, lochs or out to the islands on the coastal fringes.
Our property was reconstructed on the historic site of an old Blacksmiths workshop dating back to the 15th century when claymore swords were reputedly made on site. Within 100 yards is the pier where 3,000 folks a week were shipped out to the Americas and Australasia at the height of the Clearances with many local folks ending up working for the Hudson Bay Company.
