Blue Bay Beach House is located in Mawgan Porth a seaside village halfway between Padstow and Newquay. Previously run as a hotel and restaurant by the present owners, having successfully organised house parties and family gatherings, they are now offering Blue Bay Beach House on a self-catering basis.

Mawgan Porth is ideally situated 2 miles from Newquay airport, 2 miles from Watergate Bay and Jamie Oliver's 15 Restaurant and 6 miles from Padstow and Rick Steins empire of restaurants and shops.

Centrally located in Cornwall making nowhere more than an hour away. Mawgan Porth beach is 400 metres down a private lane ideal for families, with RNLI lifeguards, waterfall, caves, rock pools and sand dunes.

With shops offering surf hire and lessons the beach is ideal for surfing, kite surfing and body boarding.

200 metres from the South West Coastal path leading to Carnewas National Trust property, 10 minutes walk, with the magnificent Bedruthan Steps and excellent cafe offering light lunches and ice creams.

Dogs are welcome. The beach is dog friendly all year round.

Not equipped for disabled guests but 5 bedrooms are located on the ground floor. As a hotel we have accommodated many people with varying disabilities

Fully equipped professional kitchen with 5 ring gas range ,oven and grill, microwave,2 dishwashers, stainless throughout, fridges.

Sea view dining room with seating for 22 people on one large table.

Sea view sitting room with open fire, bar, Sonos sound system with alexa, and white oak wooden flooring. Full of seaside chic.

TV and Music Facilities

Sonos sound system in kitchen and sitting room,Sky Sport ,BT Sport,Sky and Netflix ,TVs with FreeView in all bedrooms, free WiFi throughout.

Games Room

We don't have a games room, but there is an oak box in the living room full of various games.

Central heated throughout with open fire in sitting room.

Bedrooms

7 double bedrooms (3 with either 1 or 2 extra singles) and 2 twins. All en-suite with sea views.

Linen

All linen is provided; sheets, duvets and towels (except beach towels).

Bathrooms

All 9 bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom or shower room.
