Blyth Hall is set in beautiful grounds and gardens yet only a 10 minute drive from the NEC and 30 minutes from Birmingham and Coventry. It's a lovely family holiday house in the Midlands for multi generational groups and also somewhere popular for friends to get together for a reunion or special occasion. Blyth Hall can also be exclusively hired for small weddings and corporate events.
Blyth Hall sits on the banks of the River Blythe with lovely parkland, extensive lawns and beautiful gardens to enjoy. There is a fishing kit in the house so you can try out your skills on the private stretch of river belonging to Blyth Hall. Or relax in the Peninsular Garden that boasts water on 3 sides and a resident family of swans. The walled garden has a large lawn and interesting planting, ideal for a family game of frisbee with the dog or a picnic in the sunshine. The terrace is an excellent spot for al fresco dining and early evening drinks taking in the river views.
While Blyth Hall retains many fantastic original features including high ceilings, cornice and cosy open fireplaces, its renovation has created a warm and welcoming place to stay. The formal dining room is perfect for a special meal but equally sitting down at the long kitchen table for breakfast together is a treat. There are 3 sitting rooms, all with exquisite design and plush sofas, 2 with blazing open fires, and offering plenty of choice for a mixed age group.
The 13 bedrooms are individually designed with features that include canopies, 4 posters, classy drapes and beautiful soft furnishings. 15 bathrooms in total ensure that facilities are plentiful on all floors. The ground floor double bedroom has an adjoining wet room, something to consider for anyone in the group who can't manage a lot of stairs. There's also a family room with a double and 2 twins as well as a sofa bed for an extra 2.
One of the delights of being at Blyth Hall is that there are walks from the door that include the Stew Walk, a circular stroll around the grounds, or a longer walk stopping off for a pint at one of 2 pubs in Shustoke. There are many family friendly days out nearby too, with Drayton Manor just 15 minutes away, Cadbury World 35 minutes and Warwick Castle 35 minutes. Or for guests looking for accommodation to tie in with an event at the NEC, this venue is easily accessible in 10 minutes.
