No floor plans are available for this property. ## About The Property The Lodge sleeps 12 in 5 bedrooms and a mezzanine (small sofa bed in the master suite for 2 additional guests) The Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms Bodney Lodge is a welcoming converted 19th century barn and stable block that sleeps 12 people, making it ideal for families or groups of friends to spend time together in peaceful countryside, whether for a special occasion or simply a weekend catching up. The main barn has a large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a library and wood burner, plenty of room to relax, cook and gather. 5 double bedrooms with en suites (1 with a spectacular copper tub) and a mezzanine twin provide comfortable spaces to unwind. Outside, the enclosed garden looks out over open farmland, and the wood-fired hot tub is heated ready for your arrival. Next door, Bodney Park Cottage offers 2 additional bedrooms and lovely parkland views. Its bright kitchen diner sits under a lantern roof, and the sitting room has a log burner for cosy evenings. The cottage also has a wood fired hot tub on the terrace, outdoor seating and a barbecue, giving guests staying here their own private corner. The barn and stable block sit together within a private garden, an ideal arrangement for larger groups wanting to spread out between the two spaces. The grounds at Bodney are a real highlight, perfect for walking the dogs. Depending on the season, woodland walks are dotted with snowdrops or bluebells. Guests can fish on the River Wissey, a chalk stream that runs through the estate, or enjoy a swim in the lake from the pontoon. There's also a games room with a full-sized snooker table for friendly competitions and a bar. For those wanting something extra, massages, yoga and reflexology sessions can be arranged in advance - please ask. There is also a brand new astroturf tennis court available to book.  The Sandringham Estate is a 40 minute drive away and Cambridge just an hour by car. Go Ape Thetford or Anglia Karting Centre are ideal for a family day out. North Norfolk has many spectacular beaches and lots of lovely pubs and cafes for lunch. Check in is at 3pm / check out at 10am, we will allow late check-outs where possible. Damage deposit £500.  - - The mezzanine level in the Lodge holds two 3′ single beds which guests are welcome to use, however caution should be taken up the steep spiral staircase. Please be aware, guests using these beds will need to share en-suite facilities with another bedroom. - - Private catering and massages can be booked in advance through the owners. - - Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). - - Fly fishing and other services can be booked in advance through the owners. - - Wood fired hot tub (seats 6 guests comfortably) with a few steps up to access.
