On the south coast of Cornwall sits the charming twin harboured fishing village of Mevagissey, a lovely holiday destination and a good base for exploring this part of Cornwall. Bodrugan Barton is ideally placed, a pleasant walk through fields to hidden coves and rockpools on the beach.

Bodrugan Barton has the flexibility of different sized cottages, perfect for groups of families, with the smaller cottages ideal for couples or grandparents in a multi generational group. The site benefits from a spacious shared space in The Stables, equipped with a kitchen, comfortable seating and dining tables for a large group. Initially a studio for art courses, this space can be used for dining together or a family celebration, workshops, yoga, retreats and meetings for businesses.

Facilities in the cottages include well equipped kitchens with washing machines and dryers, coat and boot rooms in the larger units and dining for the number of guests staying. Lounges with open fires are cosy for an evening relaxing after a day out at the beach or take drinks out into the gardens to enjoy fresh sea air and ocean views. Bedrooms are a combination of doubles, twins and singles, flexible for a mixed age group and individually decorated with crisp white bed linen. Rowards Cottage has a luxury roll top bath, positioned to enjoy fabulous views with an indulgent glass of bubbles.

Explore the coast and the charming fishing villages which offer many great spots for lunch or an ice cream, to be enjoyed while relaxing and watching the boats come and go. Book a seat on the ferry to Fowey, 45 minutes each way and a chance to enjoy coastal scenery and local wildlife. Attractions nearby include the Lost Gardens of Heligan which can be reached in 10 minutes and the Eden Project 30 minutes away.
