Boscantle has gorgeous light filled luxury interiors matched outside by a south facing garden, terraces and a heated swimming pool. The colourful reception rooms provide options for a mixed age group, with a spacious drawing room for the adults to enjoy a nightcap together and a snug TV room for the youngsters to stream their Netflix favourites. The kitchen is well equipped for large group catering, with plenty of options for eating in the spacious formal dining room, separate breakfast room, or outside on the terraces when the sun is shining.
The bedrooms are configured as super kings or twins, some using zip and links, with the master bedroom having a contemporary 4 poster. They are all individually designed, luxury spaces with exquisite soft furnishings and the promise of a restful night. The room in the eaves is a cosy hideaway only suitable for children. 2 en suites, 2 family bathrooms and 2 ground floor WCs are plentiful for a large group.
It may be hard to tear your group away, given all that Boscantle has to offer, but if you manage to do so there is a gate from the garden that takes you to Budock Vean golf course for a round of golf, or head to the hotel for lunch or a Cornish cream tea. The stunning gardens at Trebah and Glendurgan are also within walking distance. Great sandy beaches include Maenporth, Swanpool or Gyllyngvase Beach for a fun family day out, with Falmouth offering more seafood restaurants. A path opposite the house takes you to the Helford River and Ferry Boat Inn, an opportunity to walk the dogs with the reward of a pint before dinner. You can also hop on the small ferry over to Helford Village, where you can enjoy refreshments and yet more delicious food.
