It is the old Victorian Church School of Boughrood, which closed in the 1960s and has been used as a field centre since then. This simple but comfortable property is suitable for families, groups of friends, activity groups and youth groups and is let on an exclusive use basis, offering great value to large groups. The original school hall provides for a large living/dining area which opens out via double doors onto wooden decking with rolling countryside views. There is a split level dormitory (connected by a spiral staircase) which can sleep up to 30 in bunk beds with a shared washroom. There are also 3 separate twin bedrooms, 2 on the ground floor and 1 on the first floor accessed by a separate staircase. There is a further separate bathroom and shower room. The kitchen is well supplied and has a large American fridge freezer, a large cooker and commercial dishwasher, instructions provided. The property comes with a small meadow on site laid to grass, approx 100 ft x 30 ft. Parking is available for several vehicles (at least 6) on paved area next to the main building through the double gates or on the grass between the main building and the outhouses. No on road parking. Caretaker lives next door to the property and is available to assist as required. All electrical and H&S checks undertaken annually. There are 2 outhouses on site, 1 is a multi-games room and the other is not in use as used for storage. Max 3 pets allowed. Pets should be supervised at all times and please clean up after your pets. - **Accessibility:** The premises are fundamentally unsuitable for those with ambulant disabilities. There is no hearing loop. - **WiFi:** Pay phone. No WiFi. - **Kitchen:** Large well-equipped kitchen with an American style fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher, double sink and lots of cooking equipment. - **Dining Room:** Located in original school hall. 5 tables with 18 chairs. 2 wooden benches. Patio doors opens to wooden decking with countryside views. - **Sitting Room:** Located in original school hall. 3 double sofas, 3 single sofas, 2 coffee tables. Book shelf with books and puzzles. Games cupboard. Patio doors. - **TV and Music Facilities:** CD/Radio. No TV. - **Games Room:** Table tennis table and pool table in outhouse. For use during daylight hours only as no power supply to outhouse. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Calor gas heating. - **Bedrooms:** 2 dormitories sleeping 30 connected by spiral staircase - lower dorm sleeps 16, upper 16. Access to washroom via lower dorm only. 3 twin bedrooms. - **Linen:** Duvets and pillowcases provided. Please bring own bed linen. - **Bathrooms:** 1 communal washroom with 3 shower cubicles, 4 toilets and 4 sinks located off lower dormitory. 1 bathroom with wc, 1 shower room with wc. - **Outdoor:** Meadow to side of property for activities. Games room in outhouse. - **Parking:** Several vehicles (at least 6) can be parked on the flat land around the site accessed through double gate.
