This is a glorious opportunity to gather your family together for a wonderful glamping experience in the heart of Monmouthshire.

Just before Box Barn, keep an eye out for what can only be described as a proper castle. Raglan Castle is a fine example of a late Medieval fortress, interesting for history buffs and a dream for youngsters to explore and fire up excited imaginations.

Pick up supplies in Raglan, or enjoy a meal out in a local pub. The market towns of Abergavenny, Usk and Monmouth are between 10 and 20 minutes from the site, well worth a visit for independent shops and eateries. If you are there in September, Abergavenny Food Festival is a must visit. There are many walks close to Box Barn in the beautiful Black Mountains such as The Skirrid and Sugarloaf as well as the Brecon Beacons further afield. Cycling, canoeing and wild swimming can be enjoyed at lots of destinations nearby.

While the location of Box Barn Gathering Camp makes it hugely accessible from major transport routes and places around the UK, there really is no need to move from the delightful site at all. Guests will bask in the luxury of the 8 seater wood fired hot tub, taking in the pretty countryside views and night skies. This is all about bringing the outside in and vice versa. The addition of an outdoor kitchen places emphasis on al fresco dining at any time of year, made possible by the large fire-pit to toast marshmallows and keep warm. If the weather does take a turn, then cosy living areas with decor inspired by Nick's Australian heritage in the barn and bunkhouse are a great alternative.

Accommodation is varied and visitors have the choice of doubles, twin, super-king or singles in separate units, to guarantee space and privacy for all ages and especially multi generational groups. Rooms are comfortable with tasteful soft furnishings. Contemporary bathroom facilities are plentiful across the property.

- **TV and Music Facilities:** Vintage turntable with LPs. Sonos sound system. 2 TVs with DVD and Blu-ray players. Guitar.
- **Games Room:** There is a large private meadow perfect for outdoor games including badminton, rounders and boules.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Underfloor heating in the barn. Wood burning stoves in the barn and bunkhouse and a 16 seater firepit outside. Extra logs for £8 per barrow load.
- **Bedrooms:** 1 double, 1 super-king/twin in the barn and a nook with sofa-bed. 6 singles in the bunkhouse. 3 in yurt. Extra spaces available.
- **Linen:** Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. BYO towels for hot-tub and wild swimming.
- **Bathrooms:** 2 shower rooms and 2 flushing toilets in the barn. Extra bathroom facility for the bunkhouse and caravan.
- **Children's Facilities:** A high chair and travel cot can be provided upon request.
