With a large separate dining room, kitchen and sitting room, your group will have plenty of space to spread out and relax after your day's activities. The bunkhouse, sleeping up to 31, has a variety of dorm rooms with comfortable adult-size bunk beds, sleeping 10, 8, 6, 2 and 2 people, along with a family room sleeping 3 in regular beds; plenty of flexibility and space for your group.  The sitting room has a cosy log burner - your first basket of logs is free, and baskets cost £5 thereafter (one basket usually enough for one evening). There are plenty of sofas to kick back and relax in. Outside there is a decked area with picnic benches, and we can provide a big oil-drum barbecue if the weather is nice! We're in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, easily accessible to Brecon, Crickhowell and Hay on Wye, and only 3 hours from London. There is plenty of parking on site, and once you are here you can access stunning walks, hiking, mountain-biking and horse riding right from the door. Canoeing, boating, caving, climbing activities are nearby, and the Black Mountains Gliding Club just up the road offers incredible, unforgettable flights over the Brecon Beacons. Talgarth (3 miles away) has a convenient Co-op open until 10pm, some lovely pubs, an award-winning cafe in a converted mill, one of the best butchers in the country (phone ahead for large orders!) and a great deli, along with fish & chips, pizza (free delivery!). There are also some fantastic gastro-pubs in the area. The bunkhouse is situated on our farm, and is family-run with a friendly, personal touch. We've lived in the area for over 45 years and can help you get the most out of your stay. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Dogs by arrangement. Full livery available for horses. - **Accessibility:** Ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The bunkhouse itself is accessed by two steps and the ground floor bedroom is accessed by one step. - **WiFi:** No telephone, no Wi-Fi, no mobile reception available (available generally 1 minute walk up a hill in any direction!). - **Kitchen:** Large separate kitchen, 2 fridges, large catering-style oven, plenty of pots and pans. - **Dining Room:** Large separate dining room, seating up to 32 in one sitting, also ideal for use for workshops, conferences, expedition notes. - **Sitting Room:** Large separate sitting room with plenty of sofas, and a cosy log burner. - **TV and Music Facilities:** There is an old-style TV in the sitting room with Sky - only the regular channels are available. No Wi-Fi! - **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating, unlimited hot water, and a cosy log burner. - **Bedrooms:** Dorm-style bedrooms with bunks sleeping 10, 8, 6, 2 and 2, plus a 'family room' with single beds sleeping 3 with an en suite bathroom. - **Linen:** Guests bring own sleeping bags or duvets, or duvets supplied at £5 per stay. We provide pillow plus pillowcase and a sheet. Guests bring own towels. - **Bathrooms:** 2 large open shower-rooms, each with 3 showers (6 showers total). 3 toilets. One regular en suite shower room with shower and toilet. - **Children's Facilities:** Children welcome.
