The Duchy of Cornwall upland beef farm is host to a self-catering accommodation Barn (with hot-tub and sauna) and a charming medium sized conference and function suite. The 10 en suite rooms in the Barn can comfortably accommodate up to 24. The original Haystore provides guests with an additional living and dining space with fantastic views of Yar Tor. An outstanding suite for large groups or family gatherings, the room is furnished with sofas, tables, chairs and a wood-burning stove. The Haystore is a dynamic space, used on a regular basis for a variety of functions including wedding receptions, general knees-ups, meditation and yoga sessions, literary and art appreciation groups and much more. A fully equipped commercial kitchen suited to large self-catering groups backs onto the function area. Brimpts Cottage is a charming detached property with breath-taking views. There are 3 bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a shower room, a cosy sitting room with a log burner and a bright conservatory with additional dining seating. A recent addition to the Brimpts portfolio are 5 camping pods as seen on the BBC's Countryfile. Situated with stunning views across the Dart valley, each one sleeps 4 and has access to a toilet/shower block. Other facilities include the sauna, hot-tub and sun deck, a drying room and an outdoor terrace with chairs, tables and a barbecue. We can provide evening meals for large groups, traditional farmhouse catering from fresh local ingredients. Something for everyone at Brimpts....a model venue for group activities, we can cater for large and small groups from corporate team building days to educational workshops.
