Broadmeadows House has been lovingly and tastefully restored by its owners into a luxurious holiday home spacious enough to accommodate sizeable family and friends gatherings and special celebrations all under one roof. This Scottish mansion house dates from the time of Sir Walter Scott and has been thoughtfully divided to form stylish flexible self catering accommodation for 2 – 20 guests. The Big Hoose is formed from the impressive main 2 floors of the house and accommodates 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms. Other features include: - magnificent entrance hall with original staircase - elegant drawing room with open log fire - spacious well equipped modern kitchen with breakfast island - dining room seating up to 14 - snug/library - games room, with a Riley snooker table An additional spectacular dining room seating up to 40 can be hired for group dining, special events and weddings. Each of the apartments has a modern fitted kitchen, comfortable living area and bathrooms. There is a large communal garden with a pond and barbecue area. Broadmeadows House is situated in the Yarrow Valley, a beautiful and mostly undiscovered part of the Scottish Borders. This peaceful area is ideal for those who wish to walk the hills, cycle trails, fish the local rivers or just simply relax and get close to nature in our grounds. Situated in the heart of border country close to the historic county town of Selkirk, it's just a 1/2 hour drive to many picturesque mill towns of The Scottish Borders. Broadmeadows is also within easy reach of Edinburgh by car, or take the newly opened Waverley train line with regular connections from Tweedbank. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** No pets allowed in any of our properties. - **Accessibility:** There are no specific facilities for disabled guests. - **WiFi:** WiFi is free and is available in each accommodation. We receive 4G Vodafone signal. - **Kitchen:** Each has fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob. Big Hoose has dual fuel range, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher.
