Bruisyard Hall and Barn is the ultimate country retreat. Year on year renewing its 5 Star Gold Award for self-catering accommodation from Visit England (most recently in October 2018), Bruisyard Hall is perfectly suited to large family get-togethers, quiet country retreats, and of course, beautiful weddings.

The Hall sleeps 24 in 12 sumptuous bedrooms with 10 luxury bathrooms (6 en-suite). Downstairs is a large kitchen with original features, an attractive dining room to seat 24 for dinner and a reception room ideal for formal use if required. For family getaways, there is a games room and TV room perfect to keep all ages entertained. The recently renovated 17th Century Barn is adjacent to the Hall, creating a perfect location for a countryside wedding.

On the doorstep of the Hall are miles after miles of countryside walks and plenty of country activities which can be arranged for guests’ pleasure, including exploring the 150 acre Bruisyard Wood and the estate’s trout lake which is available to guests for fishing.

Spacious kitchen, well equipped for large groups (of up to 30) – with plenty of everything.
Dining room seats up to 24 guests (with additional relaxed dining seating in kitchen).
A light and spacious drawing room with open fire and room for all the group to gather.
The games room offers a pool table, TV and plenty of board games. The attic cinema room has comfy seating, TV and bar.
Telephone, wireless broadband access available.
Large Games Room with pool table, boardgames, and large flatscreen television.
Full central heating throughout and open fire in the drawing room.
12 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms. 6 doubles, 1 twin, 5 can be either double or twin.
All linen and towels included. Towelling bathrobes for adults.
10 bathrooms plus 2 downstairs toilets.
No disabled facilities in the main house.
Two z-beds and two cots available. Highchairs are available. Babysitting service by arrangement.
Table tennis. Extensive countryside walks. Trout fishing on the estate lake. Archery, pampering and other activities can also be arranged.
We do not have a pool, but we can provide details on local pools if required.
Ample at the Hall with additional parking for 100 cars at the Bruisyard Barn.
Smoking is not permitted in the main house but in the designated smoking areas outside the Hall.
Dogs welcome, with prior approval.

Location

Bruisyard Hall is within easy access of Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Framlingham with its castle, Minsmere RSPB reserve, Thorpeness, Orford and Dunwich.
Saxmundham and Framlingham.
Saxmundham (Waitrose) and Framlingham (Co-Op Solar).
Rendham(1.5 miles). Also nearby, Framlingham, Badingham, Dennington and Sibton.
