This is a fantastic location for outdoor enthusiasts and for those wanting to explore the Snowdonia National Park. This purpose built outdoor centre is suited to all kinds of groups including families, friends, churches, school groups, youth groups, corporate events and team building trips. Self catering to fully catered.
A wide range of activities are available at Bryn y Moel and Pensarn Harbour, with something for everyone. Try orienteering, archery, climbing, gorge walking, rock climbing and mountaineering in this amazing location at the foot of the Rhinog Mountain Range and just 20 minutes from Eryri (Snowdonia National Park). Or your group can head to Pensarn Harbour on the River Artro Estuary where there are opportunities for sailing, sea kayaking, canoeing and raft building.
Set in 11 acres overlooking Pensarn Harbour with woodland views of the estuary, there's plenty to do on site. Make use of the hardcourt sports area or cosy up round the firepit to catch up over toasted marshmallows. There's a fully equipped commercial kitchen for self catering, or catered options available. The large dining space has space for the whole group to eat together. The lounge provides a space for relaxing, or alternatively turn it into an activity or games space. Next door there's also a games room with a pool table and table tennis.
Beds are a mix of mostly bunk beds and a number of single beds. Each bedroon is en suite. There's an accessible ground floor bedroom with wet room, ideal for anyone for whom the stairs would be difficult.
Take a stroll from Bryn y Moel along the back lane (which is part of Cycle Route Number 8) and you will find Llanbedr, an attractive village with a number of eateries and family friendly pubs to try out. 15 minutes walk down hill from the centre and you will encounter the Wales Coastal Path which you can follow to the beautiful Llandawg beach or hop on the train and visit any number of beaches on the Cambrian Coast and further afield. In fact why not take the train to get here, with the halt at Pensarn only 20 minutes walk from our Bryn y Moel Centre.
