## About The Property

Burmieston is a truly special place for a really different yet inspirational experience. The owners welcome volunteers from the global community to help with sustainability projects on the farm and these enriching activities might be something to include in corporate team building. Delegates will arrive at Burmieston and be blown away by the space, peace and gorgeous accommodation. They will leave feeling rejuvenated and enriched, returning to the workplace happier and full of amazing ideas. And given there is no wifi, Burmieston enables guests to have a digital detox and proud of it.

Beautifully renovated farm buildings provide lots of choices for meetings and smaller breakaway spaces, including an 8m diameter circular room, ideal for yoga classes or workshops of any kind. The table in the kitchen is where everyone can gather to kick things off for an informal but productive meeting. For self catering, this is a great space to enjoy cooking together, using locally sourced foods to make healthy meals. The central courtyard is a fantastic garden space with an undercover area for dining al fresco using a quirky upcycled truck wheel rim as a barbecue. The Bull Box is a contemporary lounge with mood lighting and comfy sofas to relax together during the evenings, and somewhere to share ideas by day. The courtyard fire pit is also a perfect spot for chilling together over a few drinks at the end of a busy session.

The large barn is a great space for indoor games and events. Whereas the round room, nicknamed the ‘silo’, with its underfloor heating and ambient lighting options make it perfect for yoga classes, mindfulness and meditation. Local experts can be invited to help the team with healing personal development. During down time, set up table tennis in the barn for some friendly competition and fun.

The luxury bedrooms can be configured as superkings or twins for a mixed gathering. All are en suite and 4 are on the ground floor.

A wildlife walk with Perthshire Wildlife can be arranged with the option of a beaver safari. Or try the challenges of an Escape Barn – cryptic puzzles and challenges for team building, all without special effects.

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets are allowed. Max 2 dogs per stay. £15 per dog per stay.
- **Accessibility:** The Wood Store bedroom and bathroom is fully accessible, as is the kitchen and access to the barn, courtyard and sitting room.
- **WiFi:** No WiFi - a chance for a digital detox.
- **Kitchen:** Well equipped kitchen includes multiples of all modern appliances. Barbecue made out of a truck wheel rim located in the courtyard.
- **Dining Room:** Enough table space and seating for 12 inside dining. High chair also provided. Covered area for al fresco meals in the courtyard.
- **Sitting Room:** Beautiful "Bull Box" sitting room with lovely seating, books, games and a wood burning stove.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** No TV at Burmieston. Bluetooth speakers in the Kitchen, Lounge and Barn. There is a projector with DVD player and choice of films.
- **Games Room:** Games barn with table tennis, darts and children's toys.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout, with wood burning stove in Bull Box lounge. Underfloor heating in ground floor rooms, thermostatically controlled.
- **Bedrooms:** 2 family rooms with kings and bunk beds. 2 kings and a single. All en suite. All kings able to be made twin. 4 of 5 rooms on the ground floor.
- **Linen:** Quality bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. Comfy mattresses made from natural latex and wool. Duvets and pillows made from Welsh wool.
- **Bathrooms:** All bedrooms are en suite with showers. The Loft bathroom has a shower plus a wooden freestanding bath.
- **Children's Facilities:** A travel cot and high chair are available. Children's books, games and toys plus baby monitor available. Trampoline and swing here too.
- **Outdoor:** Pretty courtyard with covered seating for eating outside. Barbecue. Benches around the fire pit. Trampoline and swing. Access to games barn.
- **Parking:** Off road parking. EV charger (fee charged).
- **Smoking:** No smoking please.

## Booking Information

- Terms & conditions provided regarding booking, invoicing and cancellation. 3-night min stay. Retreat space optional extra. BACS payments only. Check in 4pm, check out 11am, flexible on request. Max 2 dogs allowed, £15 per dog per stay. No smoking. Owners ask that noise kept to a minimum after 11pm. Please recycle all waste.
