Burren Court Lodge offers a welcoming and spacious setting for groups seeking comfort, connection and inspiration in the heart of the Burren landscape. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of limestone hills and open countryside, the Lodge provides a peaceful retreat where groups can relax together while exploring one of Ireland’s most unique natural environments. And it is perfect for groups planning to visit the Cliffs of Moher (20 minutes away, with a cruise available which takes you under the cliffs), close to the Wild Atlantic Way, 1 hour from Shannon airport and 3 hours from Dublin.

The accommodation is designed with group stays in mind, providing space for up to 32 guests across 16 en suite bedrooms, divided into self contained apartments each with a comfortable living room, dining table for 4 and a fully equipped kitchen. The Thatched Cottage also offers communal living areas, reserved exclusively for groups, and providing a cosy environment where guests can socialise together, or host workshops and retreats. In the evening, enjoy a quieter pace of life, with time for board games, music round the piano or simply unwind together after a day out exploring. Outside caterers can be organised on request.

Outside, the Lodge opens into a courtyard garden with outdoor seating areas - the perfect place for morning coffee, outdoor dining, or simply taking in the stillness of the Burren countryside. On clear nights the dark skies make this an excellent location for stargazing.

Burren Court Lodge sits at the top of Corkscrew Hill, a scenic area within the Burren UNESCO Global Geopark, placing guests within easy reach of some of Ireland’s most iconic attractions. A short drive brings visitors to the dramatic Cliffs of Moher, the ancient tomb of Poulnabrone Dolmen,and the artisan gardens of The Burren Perfumery.

Nearby villages such as Ballyvaughan, Lisdoonvarna and Kilfenora offer traditional music, excellent recommended local restaurants for dining out and welcoming pubs, all within a short drive. Your hosts can help you plan an exciting itinerary, with sea kayaking, surf lessons, guided walks and electric bike tours all available. Great beaches are also within easy reach.
