The site is peaceful and off grid, yet thoughtfully equipped to provide comfort throughout your stay. Accommodation is centred around elevated safari tents, making them ideal for small groups who want shared time while still having their own space. Each tent is pitched and ready to go for your stay, on a raised platform among the trees, with views across the woodland and river. Inside, the living areas are spacious and welcoming, with comfortable beds, soft linens, a wood burning stove and a private en suite bathroom with hot water and a power shower. The open plan and two bedroom layouts allow flexibility for different group sizes, while covered decking areas extend the living space outdoors. Here you can cook, dine or simply sit together and take in the surroundings. Fire pits or barbecues add to the experience, for relaxed evenings under the trees. 5 safari tents sleeping 4 adults, 1 child in each: Holly and Meadow are open plan Ash and The Ivy have 2 bedrooms Ivy and Meadow can be adjoined for a larger group Cwtch sleeps 2 The Cwtch provides an idyllic bolthole with a barrel sauna for soothing aching muscles. The setting of this charming glamping site encourages a slower pace of life, with nature trails, riverside walks and a natural playground and meadow to explore. Guests can also enjoy The Treehouse cafe on site, a laid back spot for coffee, cake or light lunches with views of the river. Close to the centre of Hay-on-Wye, the location combines seclusion with easy access to independent shops, bookshops, local activities and a range of good eateries. Positioned between Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and the Black Mountains, this is a paradise for keen walkers and cyclists too.
