Cadhay provides a magnificent and calm setting to enjoy this most important moment in life reflectively, even once the main ceremony and party have finished.
A stay at Cadhay allows you and your guests the exclusive use of the house and its magnificent gardens, thus allowing you to create a wedding that is unique for you. It is a bit like getting married in your own home – albeit an Elizabethan manor!
Most weddings take place at Cadhay between May and September, because the gardens are at their best, and provide an exceptional venue for the most romantic of weddings, irrespective of size. However, Cadhay is also ideal for a small, cosy winter wedding.
Should you choose a civil ceremony, there are three possible rooms in the manor house for a maximum of 40 people. There is also a licence for the Granary and Tearoom for up to 110 guests or the Bothy in the Water Garden.For your reception you have the choice of the Tea Room for up to 70 people or hiring a marquee for the number of guests of your choice.
Working alongside our chosen caterers and marquee suppliers, you are free to incorporate your own special and very personal wishes into your wedding day, creating a style and mood that truly reflects who you are. If you wish to be married in church, then Cadhay is an ideal “home” to be married from, and to return to, for your reception. Quite simply – it is your dream day.
Cadhay accommodates 22 people. Several bedrooms have four-poster beds, adding to the romantic atmosphere. If you need extra space, there is the newly converted Cider Press (sleeps 2) plus the Stables and Coach House (both sleeping 6).
