## About The Property

If you’re looking for a simple yet comfortable stay on the beachfront with beautiful views - we’ve got you covered! We have 4 different accommodation buildings in total, with self catering in Keymer House and fully catered, B&B or accommodation only options available in Mitchell House, Lawrence House and Houston House. 

Keymer House - self-catering accommodation for up to 17 people across six bedrooms. Most rooms have bunk beds or single beds. There is a kitchen, dining room and lounge downstairs. You will have unrivalled access to the beach and stunning views from every window.

Mitchell House, Lawrence House and Houston House - consist mostly of bunkbeds ranging from 1 - 9 people per room, with shared bathroom/toilet facilities. Groups can hire individual rooms or complete buildings, depending upon their party size and requirements. This accommodation is not self-catered - rooms are available on a bed only, bed and breakfast or fully catered basis with food served in our residenial dining room which is adjacent to the accommodation buildings.

All accommodation is situated on Calshot Spit and is managed by Calshot Activities Centre. With a site featuring beach areas, launch access for water craft and multiple indoor activity facilities, Calshot is perfect for a family get away. We offer instructed courses in Climbing, Skiing, Track Cycling, Sailing, Kayaking, Windsurfing and Powerboating as well as shorter experience sessions such as Take Off (autobelay climbing), AeroTrek (indoor high ropes) and Ringos. We strongly recommend booking in advance to check course dates and availability, and secure a space on these sessions.

We are also well positioned to provide a base for exploring the New Forest National Park and nearby Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and Lymington. Within a 20-minute drive you can be in the heart of New Forest, surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** In Keymer House (self-catered), one dog per booking is permitted within the accommodation. For all other buildings, dogs are not permitted.
- **Accessibility:** Some of our blocks are not wheelchair accessible. However, we do have a wheelchair friendly room and bathroom in Mitchell House.
- **WiFi:** Free WiFi is available inside the Hangar and in Keymer House only.
- **Kitchen:** Keymer House features a kitchen. All other buildings are for accommodation only, B&B or fully catered bookings.
- **Dining Room:** Keymer House features a dining area. All other catering is provided in our residential dining room.
- **Sitting Room:** Keymer House features a lounge area. Other buildings have range of group gathering spaces. Please enquire for more information.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Keymer House features a TV in the lounge.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout all buildings.
- **Bedrooms:** Most bedrooms consist of bunkbeds and sleep 3-4. Please enquire for more information about the full range of bedrooms on offer.
- **Linen:** Bedding is included in Keymer House hire. For other buildings, please enquire for bedding options.
- **Bathrooms:** All buildings feature shared bathroom facilities.
- **Children's Facilities:** Inside the Hangar, there a number of 'pay and play' activities available at weekends and in school holidays for children aged 4 upwards.
- **Outdoor:** All accommodation blocks are located a short distance from stony beaches offering plenty of lovely walks and beach based activities.
- **Parking:** Adequate parking on our secure site.
- **Smoking:** Smoking is prohibited inside any of the buildings.

Calshot Activities Centre is located in the south east corner of the New Forest, on a shingle spit of land with unrivalled views of the Solent, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight. Great for cruise ship spotting, exploring the local area and enjoying the beaches.

- **Location:** Hythe is located 20 minutes from us and has plenty of shops and restaurants to explore.
- **Shop:** 10 minutes away in Holbury is a row of shops including Co-op, a fish and chip shop and a couple of restaurants.
- **Food and Drink:** Our on-site Cafe offers delicious snacks and drinks and is open 7 days a week. The nearest pub is a 10 minute drive to Ashlett Creek, called The Jolly Sailor.
