If you’re looking for a simple yet comfortable stay on the beachfront with beautiful views - we’ve got you covered!

Keymer House offers self-catering accommodation for up to 17 people across six bedrooms. Most rooms have bunk beds or single beds. There is a kitchen, dining room and lounge downstairs. You will have unrivalled access to the beach and stunning views from every window.

The rooms consist mostly of bunkbeds, ranging from 1 - 9 people per room, with shared bathroom/toilet facilities.
Groups would have their own exclusive space to comfortably fit you in. Larger groups can hire out multiple accommodation blocks.

We also have a range of rooms available for hire on a bed and breakfast basis. These rooms mostly sleep 3 people per room with accommodating up to four or six (up to 60 people). Each room will have a designated toilet and shower. We offer a delicious cooked breakfast served in our dining block, which is a short walk from the accommodation buildings.

Located on a stretch of land that reaches out into the Solent, Calshot Activities Centre offers stunning views combined with plenty of adventure to keep people of all ages entertained. Perfect for a family get away to enjoy the seaside and explore the New Forest National Park.

There are a diverse range of activities available on site, located inside our large WW1 aircraft hangar, from ski slopes, cycling velodrome to climbing walls. Groups can also take part in some adrenaline filled activities including Ringos, Laser Climb and Aero Trek. You can either book online in advance for these or turn up on the day. Perfect all year round with the activities indoor and all under one roof.
The area is also popular for water sports with great access to sheltered waters.

Nearby, there is the New Forest National Park. Within a 20-minute drive you can be in the heart of park, surrounded by spectacular scenery and wildlife. The area is ideal for walkers and has many cycling trails as well.

Facilities

WiFi

Free WiFi is available inside the Hangar but there is no WiFi in the rooms. There are no landlines but generally good mobile phone signal.

Disabled Facilities

Some of our blocks are not wheelchair accessible. However, we do have specific wheelchair friendly rooms and toilets in Mitchell House.

Dog Friendly

Sorry, no pets allowed.

Kitchen

We only have a self-catering kitchen in Keymer House. Breakfast is provided in our dining block and groups can also dine in the Cafe.

Dining Room

Dining room for breakfasts. The Cafe on site serves food 7 days a week and can seat up to 60 people for your other meals.

Sitting Room

Some blocks offer a sitting room. However, most do not. The Cafe is a great place to relax, located a short walk away from the rooms.

TV and Music Facilities

No facilities in the accommodation blocks. However, the Cafe does have a TV and music playing.

Games Room

There is no games room.

Heating and Open Fires

Central heating throughout.

Bedrooms

Most rooms consist of bunkbeds, with most sleeping 3-4 per room. In Houston House you may get up to 9 people per room.

Linen

Please bring all of your own linen.

Bathrooms

Shared bathroom facilities. Some rooms have their own toilet/shower opposite them.

Children's Facilities

Inside the Hangar, there a number of 'pay and play' activities available at weekends and in school holidays for children aged 4 upwards.

Outdoor

All accommodation blocks are located a short distance from stony beaches offering plenty of lovely walks and beach based activities.

There is no pool.

Adequate parking on our secure site. Parking charges may be applicable.

Location

Located on a stretch of land with unrivalled views of the Solent, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight. Great for cruise ship spotting, exploring the local area and enjoying the beaches.

Buses do service Calshot village which is 1km away from the centre.
Nearest Station is in Beaulieu approximately 11 miles away.
Hythe is located 20 minutes from us and has plenty of shops and restaurants to explore.
10 minutes away in Holbury is a row of shops including Co-op, a fish and chip shop and a couple of restaurants.
Our on-site Cafe offers delicious food and drinks and is open 7 days a week. The nearest other pub is a 10 minute drive in Ashlett Creek, called The Jolly Sailor.
Southampton Airport approximately 45 minutes away.
