In the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and bordered by the River Cynrig, our award winning glamping site is ideal for family gatherings. Hire all 3 units and have exclusive use of the site.

The hand-built Cabin has a king-size memory foam bed and 2 full size sets of single bunk beds. Sofas, chairs, a log burner, indoor dining table, outdoor covered kitchenette with gas hobs, dining table and a wood fired oven make this cabin one of a kind. The cabin has mains powered electricity allowing for use of a small fridge, kettle, toaster and hairdryer. There's also exclusive use of a bucket shower and flush toilet.

The Bell Tents have a double bed, single futons and log burner. The Shepherds Hut kitchenettes for the exclusive use of the Bell Tent guests has a dining table, gas hobs and a small double sofa bed.

All glamping units have their own outdoor BBQ/campfire, hammock and seating area. Each is filled with cushions, solar lighting and many of Rob's unique hand-made touches. USB solar charging is available, as well as hot showers and flush toilets.

Firewood is provided on a daily basis. More is available on an honesty donation basis.

Camp Cynrig is a unique and luxurious way to experience the Welsh countryside. There are endless activities you can do from our doorstep...walk the Brecon Beacons, horseride, fish, go wild swimming, cycling. Cantref Adventure Farm is a 2 minute walk from our doorstep - a great day out for children. Within a short drive there is Llangorse Lake and Multi Activity Centre for sailing and climbing, Black Mountains Activities for gorge walking, canoeing, kayaking and plenty more. Brecon and its surrounding villages offer an extensive list of pubs, bars and restaurants if you fancy sampling local cuisine.

Book now and enjoy an activity filled day in the Brecon Beacons followed by a scrumptious BBQ at Camp Cynrig and an evening toasting marshmallows on the campfire and stargazing before snuggling down by the log burner in your glamping unit.

Several seating areas, indoor, outdoor, communal. Each unit has an outdoor seating area. All units have indoor dining tables.

Sitting Room

Outside, covered, communal seating and dining area. Dining and sofa benches in the shepherds huts. Sofas in the cabin. Logburners in all units.

TV and Music Facilities

No TV or music facilities. Group bookings are welcome to bring their own music speakers.

Games Room

Books, games, toys, board games within the units.

Heating and Open Fires

Cabin: log burner, wood fired oven. Bell Tents: log burner. Each unit has its own barbecue and campfire. Communal campfire.

Bedrooms

Various - ranging from kingsize bed to single futons. Please see our accommodation descriptions for further details.

Linen

Bedding and towels are not provided. Sleeping bags can be hired if prearranged. £10 per bag.

Bathrooms

3 flush toilets - 1 per unit. 2 hot showers - 1 per Bell Tent 1 hand-built bucket shower - exclusive to Cabin guests.

Children's Facilities

Books, puzzles and board games. Large grassy area for playing. Paddling, nature walks, wildlife spotting.

Outdoor

Barbecue, campfire, hammock, seating area outside each unit. Communal campfire. Wild swimming, paddling, adjoining woodland walks.

Swimming Pool

No pool. The site is bordered by the River Cynrig so wild swimming is possible.

Parking

Cars are not allowed on site. There is a private car park adjoining the site for all guests. Wheelbarrows are provided for transporting luggage.

Smoking

No smoking within any of our units.

Booking Information

Prices are based on 2 adults – children stay for free, extra adults are £20 per person, per night.
£50 per unit deposit for short stays – £100 per unit for full week.
Balance payment due 6 weeks prior to your stay.
Changeover days are flexible and we will do our best to accommodate you.

In a rural situation near the village of Llanfrynach and 4 miles from Brecon, in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Pen Y Fan is walk-able from our doorstep. The location of Camp Cynrig couldn’t be more ideal. Being situated in the heart of the Brecon-Beacons National Park you will never be short of places to walk and hike or simply take a slow lazy ramble. The opportunities for outdoor activities in the Mid Wales Countryside are endless. Walk, cycle, swim, fish or horse ride from our doorstep or further afield Llangorse Lake, a mere 7 miles drive away presents you with the chance to partake in many boating activities. Cantref Adventure Farm offers the chance of a fun packed family day out and is within walking distance of the site. If you feel like venturing further afield, the area is full to capacity with places to visit, take The Big Pit, Dan Yr Ogof Showcaves, Carreg Cennen Castle or Black Mountains activities as a few examples.
