The experienced Conference and Events Team are here to support you.Choose from a variety of venues to suit your corporate event, and take advantage of the expertise and services within the University of Cumbria for your meetings, conferences, exhibition or specialist projects.

There are several meeting room options and a number of lecture theatres available with seating for different sizes of conference group. Catering packages can be arranged - please get in touch.

Accommodation is in self contained flats, with all rooms single occupancy and with en suite facilities.

Each flat has a dining area or breakfast bar for self catering. Full board catering may be available. Please check when booking.

85 en suite bedrooms, all with a desk, WiFi and Ethernet connection plus wardrobe and drawers.
When you stay with us we provide you with bedding and towels.
En suite room has shower, WC and vanity sink.
We have adapted rooms for guests that have mobility or hearing impairments. Please contact for more information.
No specific facilities for children, but there is plenty to do in the city: Soft play, bowling, cinema, rock climbing and trampolining plus more.

Carlisle Swimming Pool (Carlisle Pools) is a 9 minute drive away.
Parking facilities near the Sports Hall (please speak to us about your parking requirements when booking).
No smoking except in the designated smoking areas.
No pets, however Guide Dogs are welcome.

Location

Located in Cumbria, Carlisle is the City of the Lakes. The campus is close to the J42 of the M6 and just a 5 minute taxi drive from Carlisle Train Station.
30 minutes drive to the Lake District (England's largest National Park and also a World Heritage Site), 1hr drive from Newcastle, 1hr drive to Glasgow and 2.5hrs from Manchester.
Asda Carlisle - St Nicholas Gate Retail Park, London Rd, CA1 2EA - 8 mins walk. One Stop, 7 Fusehill St, CA1 2ES - 2 mins walk. Tesco Metro, Victoria Viaduct, Carlisle CA3 8AJ - 13 mins walk.
