Casa Fuzetta is in the heart of the old town, offering quiet luxury, unparalleled views across the rooftops to the Ria Formosa. This holiday house is ideal for large families (with children aged 8 years or more), friends and groups seeking a high-end, yet relaxed, private and intimate location for time together, special occasions and/or retreats. Olhao is now considered the pearl of the Eastern Algarve. However, Olhao is like Marmite. You either love it or hate it! It isn’t for everyone… We love it for it’s down to earth salty charm, warm and hospitable people, creative community, cobbled streets and faded grandeur.  Those who aren’t happy with laid back living and having to wear flat shoes when you go out – this isn’t the place for you … The best way to get to know Olhao is to walk out the front door and wander down to the waterfront. Getting lost in the twisted network of cobbled streets along the way is part of the fun. There is usually a surprise or two to enjoy along the way. When you get to the sea front, there are the fabulous markets at the water’s edge (fish to the right, fresh fruit/veg and meats to the left) and a host of restaurants, cafes and bars to relax in along the way. Casa Fuzetta sleeps up to 22 in style and comfort and there's a dedicated local houseteam available to offer support throughout your stay. In preparation for your stay, Tara, the owner, offers bespoke recommendations sharing her extensive local knowledge and contacts. Casa Fuzetta has been included in multiple shortlists of the best yoga retreat venues in the world - including CNTraveller and Travel&Leisure. ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** Subject to owners prior approval. - **Accessibility:** We are not suitable for those with mobility issues as we have a number of steep staircases. - **WiFi:** High speed internet throughout the house. - **Bedrooms:** 11 double bedrooms - 1 is always set up as a twin, 2 are perfect as a luxury single or for a couple, and 8 can be either twin or double. - **Bathrooms:** Each bedroom has a beautiful private en suite with LaEva amenities. Plus pool terrace bathroom, 3 cloakrooms and staff bathroom. - **Cinema Room:** We don't have a cinema room per se, but we do have a projector which enables us to turn the library into a cinema. - **Heating and Open Fires:** Underfloor heating throughout the house plus two open fires. One in the living room and one on the kitchen terrace, which extends the season. - **Kitchen:** Stunning main kitchen on the 1st floor opening on to the kitchen terrace, plus a commercial prep kitchen on the ground floor. - **Linen:** Our bed and bath linen is all 100% cotton from the White Company. - **Outdoor:** More than 500sq metres of outdoor terraces. The kitchen terrace is the heart of the house for meals and the rooftop for our pool and yoga. - **Sitting Room:** Large sitting room extending into a large library leading to our hidden courtyard on the ground floor. - **Swimming Pool:** A saltwater pool 9x3m (heated when needed) overlooking the rooftops of the old town of Olhao. - **Parking:** A garage with space for one car. Free off-street parking may be available in the neighbourhood but can't be guaranteed. - **TV and Music Facilities:** We do not have screens in any areas of the house. We encourage time for digital detox.
