Casa Solariega is an impressive, spacious and well-proportioned holiday villa set in delightful and picturesque grounds on the edge of the historic and vibrant city of Villena. Your own private oasis away from the world outside, hidden away in a stunning rural setting, yet only a stone's throw from medieval Villena.

Once an important historic and grand farmhouse with adjoining farm buildings comprising stabling, staff accommodation and barns, Casa Solariega has been sympathetically renovated and restored to create an outstanding venue large enough to accommodate sizeable family gatherings, large groups of friends, celebrations and business conferences all under one roof, but with independence.

Casa Solariega has been thoughtfully divided into 8 self contained apartments:

Valaquez sleeps 5
Miro (penthouse with private terrace) sleeps 4
Dali sleeps 3
Alsina, Oliva and Diaz sleep 2
Serrano Studio sleeps 2

All have a private entrance, fitted kitchen, comfortable living areas and bathrooms, together with WiFi, Smart TV and BluRay. There's also a large indoor communal dining room or conference room area with seating for 26.

Extensive outdoor communal areas offer all you need to appreciate the spectacular Spanish climate and the joys of outside living. A large swimming pool, essential for a refreshing dip, is surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers. An upstairs terrace has a seating area, ideal for sunbathing, relaxing with a book, enjoying music or having a game of table tennis. An al fresco entertaining area has 2 large double barbecues and food preparation area including sink. The lovely gardens include fruit trees and flowers. There are breathtaking views in every direction, of the local countryside and mountains including a spectacular view of Villena Castle.

Villena's historical remains include castles, churches, hermitages, palaces, squares, caves, various museums and a visitors centre. As well as lovely restaurants, supermarkets, shops and bars, the area offers go-karting, horse riding, golf, tennis. Alicante is only a short 60km drive by car, or catch the fast train (35 minutes to Alicante and 2.5 hours to Madrid).

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets are permitted by prior arrangement.
- **Accessibility:** The lower floor of the house is accessible for wheelchairs, but the house is not prepared specifically for wheelchairs.
- **WiFi:** There is free WiFi in each apartment and mobile reception on site.
- **Kitchen:** 8 fully fitted full kitchens with gas ovens & hobs, microwave ovens, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher. Separate laundry.
- **Dining Room:** Each apartment has its own dining table and chairs, but there is also a large 26 seater indoor dining table and outside dining for 26 on the terraces.
- **Sitting Room:** Each apartment has a sitting room. There are eight in total.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** There are nine smart TVs throughout. They have UK satellite TV and all have BluRay/DVD players.
- **Games Room:** There is an outdoor games terrace with a table tennis table.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** There is a log burning stove in one apartment and full central heating throughout for winter months.
- **Bedrooms:** There are 13 very comfortable bedrooms with a capacity of 26 people. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. Kings, doubles and some single beds.
- **Linen:** There is bed linen on all beds and one bath towel per person is provided.
- **Bathrooms:** There are a total of 12 shower rooms throughout.
- **Children's Facilities:** There is a travel cot and two high chairs. These are supplied free of charge, but please apply in advance by email.
- **Outdoor:** Two large barbecues, next to which is an outdoor dining area for 26 people. There are ample sun loungers and a table tennis table.
- **Swimming Pool:** A 9m x 4.1m pool with Roman steps, LED lighting and a pool shower.
- **Parking:** Parking for at least 20 cars in the electric gated grounds. Secure and fenced.
- **Smoking:** No smoking in the house, but it's permitted in the grounds.
