The barns have been lovingly converted to create luxurious accommodation for friends and family holidays or weekends away in the stunning Berwyn Mountains.
The undercover outdoor area is a lovely corner to sit and spend an hour, day or night, or chill out in the hot tub. The gardens provide seating for barbecues, picnics or evening drinks. Inside, the story continues with beautifully designed open plan living and lots of sociable spaces.
Step into the top notch kitchen, fully equipped for preparing large meals. The central island with stools hits the spot for a chat over a cup of morning coffee. The dining area is ideal for everyone to sit and eat together, maybe a feast cooked by a hired in private chef for a special occasion. The option of 2 lovely airy lounges with TVs and wood stoves is a real bonus for multi generational groups where there is a need for space and choice.
Accommodation is spread across 3 wings and each has its own staircase for peace and privacy, with fabulous original beams and feature bannisters giving a flavour of the barns' history. Bedrooms are individually stylish and all have contemporary soft furnishings. A combination of kings, twins and a double is useful for mixed age groups and the ground floor bedrooms a consideration for anyone less mobile. Bathroom facilities are plentiful and include 6 en suites.
Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant, the local village with a pub, can be reached on foot, and you can pick up supplies at 1 of 2 general stores. Nearby you will find Pistyll Rhaeadr, a breathtaking waterfall often referred to as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales. Drive to spectacular Lake Vyrnwy in 20 minutes for lunch at the renowned hotel and spa or simply to take in the views. There are gorgeous beaches on the North Wales coast and many can be reached in under an hour, and Snowdonia with many attractions is also close by.
