The castle forms a dramatic backdrop to Castle Hill House, a perfect location for an idyllic getaway to the countryside, a large family celebration, a wedding reception or simply for a beautiful base from which to explore with your friends. The house dates back to both Georgian and Victorian times giving it a wealth of character, and is immaculately decorated throughout with luxurious carpets, elegant chandeliers and a grand central staircase with a stunning stained glass window. The house boasts large reception rooms and beautiful landscaped gardens to the rear giving plenty of room to relax and socialise. The banquet dining room can seat up to 28 guests. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops, range cooker and breakfast area. The house can sleep up to 28 people in 8 bedrooms, all of which are decorated in the period style. Five of the rooms have en suite bathrooms finished to the highest standards with marble floor and wall tiles. Extra features to make your stay as comfortable as possible include WiFi in the reception rooms, a large flat screen TV with sky, a traditional log burner for those cosy nights in, a games room and an outdoor play area for children.
