We sleeps 4 to 14 in 3 cottages. Stable Yard Cottage sleeps 6, The Tackhouse sleeps 4, Groom's Bell sleeps 4

Castletoun Cottages is a gorgeous group of cottages located in beautiful Scottish Borders, just over an hour from Edinburgh and 1.5 hours from Newcastle Upon Tyne. The secluded location and spectacular views makes this the perfect place for family and friends groups to meet for a gathering or celebration.

Guests enjoy exclusive use of Castletoun Spa - this offers a 7 seater thermal hot tub, Swedish-style sauna, cold outdoor shower, a sun deck and a therapy room. The use of robes and towels is also included.

Outdoor living is very much on the cards at Castletoun Cottages. The Tackhouse and Groom's Bell situated in the walled garden are lovely sheltered areas, perfect for a glass of wine in the evening sun. The south facing garden at Stable Yard is a sun trap and perfect for barbecues with plenty of seating. The Spa Area offers exclusive use of a sauna, a hot tub and an outdoor cold shower.

These buildings have been sympathetically restored to offer luxurious and comfortable accommodation with traditional style in Stable Yard Cottage and a more contemporary feel in The Tackhouse and Groom's Bell.

Stable Yard has a mix of double and twin rooms. All rooms enjoy sunny views towards Catmoss Hill. The Tackhouse and Groom's Bell have 2 double rooms each which can be turned into two single beds. Bathroom facilities in each cottage are fantastic and all have an extra WC on the ground floor.

Living areas are spacious and very comfortable with cosy log burning stoves in all 3 properties. Stable Yard can seat 10 together for dining. The Tackhouse and Groom's Bell have open plan living but still retain the cosy feel.

Kitchens are well equipped throughout including dishwashers and coffee machines. Stable Yard has a splendid Aga for cooking, adding to the already convivial atmosphere.

Greenlaw offers a range of local walks or further afield, The Eildons or The Cheviots. Enjoy spectacular sandy beaches just 30 min away or follow a path of abbeys and castles.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Up to 3 pets welcome in Stable Yard and Groom's Bell. No pets in The Tackhouse please. Extended garden for walking dogs off lead. £5 per dog per stay.
- **Hot Tub:** 7 person thermal hot tub in the Spa.
- **WiFi:** Free WiFi is available throughout the 3 properties.
- **Sauna:** Swedish-style sauna in the Castletoun Spa. Cold shower (outdoor). Robes and towels provided.
- **Kitchen:** All cottages have microwaves, coffee machines and washing/drying facilities. Stable Yard has an Aga. Tackhouse and Groom's Bell have a dishwasher.
- **Dining Room:** Stable Yard has dining for 10. Tackhouse and Groom's Bell have dining for 4. There is an outside barbecue area with seating at all 3 cottages.
- **Sitting Room:** Stable Yard has the largest seating area with 3 comfortable sofas. The other cottages have relaxed seating for 4. Wood burning stoves in all.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Smart TV with Netflix throughout all three cottages.
- **Games Room:** There is no games room but all cottages have a good selection of games, toys and books for childrenas well as adults.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating in all cottages as well as wood burning stoves in all the living rooms. The logs are available from the garden woodshed.
- **Bedrooms:** Stable Yard: 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 twin room Tackhouse and Groom's Bell: 2 bedrooms with superking size beds with en suite bathrooms
- **Linen:** Bed linen and towels are provided.
- **Bathrooms:** Tackhouse and Groom's Bell: 1 en suite bathroom and 1 en suite shower room.
Stable Yard: 2 upstairs bathrooms.
All have WC on ground floor.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots, cribs and high chairs available. All 3 cottages have child stair gates. A tricycle and a balance bike for the younger guests.
- **Outdoor:** Each has private area with seating and barbecue. 1.2 acres shared garden. Covered storage area (for bicycles) and a woodshed.
- **Parking:** Ample secure off road parking in all of the cottages.
- **Smoking:** No smoking in any of the properties please.
