## About The Property

The Cattle Shed has been transformed from a derelict agricultural building to state of the art, luxurious accommodation. The property has been thoughtfully designed for groups of up to 24 adults, with 11 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms and if you are a family group and happy sharing the larger bedrooms with your children in the room you can sleep a few more.

The property has a fabulous open plan lounge and dining room with stunning panoramic views over Froggatt Edge and the river Derwent below, with two sets of bi-fold doors leading out on to a lovely large south facing terrace, a wonderful space for groups to gather for special celebrations.

Inside is light and spacious with its own bar, a dining table for 24 guests and fabulous large sofas where guests can relax and unwind in front of the log fire. A further large lounge with a 55” flat screen smart TV and more luxurious sofas provides another great social space for everyone to gather together.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a double range cooker and separate oven, 2 dishwashers and a large American style fridge/freezer making catering for a large group easy! Alternatively the property is close to a wide range of wonderful pubs, wine bars and restaurants; the catering options are many and varied.

Outside there's a fire pit and Kadai barbecue and in the event of bad weather, a large 16m games room. Guests are also able to take picnics down to the fields by the river.

The location is a walkers paradise; Padley Gorge, the National Trust Longshaw Estate and the famous climbing edges of Curbar, Froggatt and Stanadge are just 5 minutes away. Nearby are also the Monsal cycle trail and the heated outdoor pool in Hathersage. For the less energetic, there's the exquisite Chatsworth House, the medieval Haddon Hall and the pretty village of Castleton with its castle and Blue John caverns.

The property is perfect for all types of groups; whether you are looking for an activity-led break with a group of friends, or you are a family group looking for a special venue to gather together, the Cattle Shed offers luxurious, ultramodern stylish accommodation in the heart of the Peak District.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** We regret pets are not accepted at The Cattle Shed.
- **Accessibility:** A ground floor accessible bedroom with en-suite wetroom. There is a level access at the entrance and all the main accommodation is on one level.
- **WiFi:** The premises has Ubiquiti built in WiFi and benefits from fibre optic broadband. Mobile phone coverage is good.
- **Kitchen:** The kitchen has a large range cooker plus a single oven and a microwave, an American fridge freezer, a large larder fridge and two dishwashers.
- **Dining Room:** Two large heavy plank dining tables capable of seating 24 with extension leaves available if required.
- **Sitting Room:** The large lounge dining room has ample seating, 55" smart TV, log burning stove and bar with drinks fridge.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Television room with 55" free-sat smart TV and also 55" TV in the main lounge area. There is also a Bose Bluetooth speaker in the lounge.
- **Games Room:** The large games room is 16m in length, has table football, a pool table and table tennis. Equipment can be moved in order to use the space for yoga.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Stone fire place with log burning stove. The heating is underfloor and zoned for each room. There are heated towel rails in all bathrooms.
- **Bedrooms:** 11 en-suite rooms. 10 with super king size zip and link beds used as twins or doubles (one of which is accessible), 1 with king size bed and bunks.
- **Linen:** All linen and towels are provided. There is also a laundry and boot room with washing machine and condensing dryer for guests use.
- **Bathrooms:** There are 11 en-suite bathrooms, all of which have power showers and two of which have baths. There is also a downstairs WC.
- **Children's Facilities:** Games room and a selection of games are available. Access to the fields adjoining the property though children must be accompanied by an adult.
- **Outdoor:** South facing decked terrace with ample outside seating, fire pit and barbecue. Access is also available to the adjoining fields. Lockable bike shed.
- **Swimming Pool:** There is no pool at The Cattle Shed. Outdoor heated pool at Hathersage. Please note this is closed in the winter months. Wild water swimming nearby.
- **Parking:** There is parking for 11 cars.
- **Smoking:** Smoking and vaping are not allowed within the building.
- **Sauna:** A traditional Finnish steam sauna, finished internally in beautiful thermo aspen. Stunning views. Holds 4-6 and is fully programmable.
