Whether you're sipping coffee on the sun deck, sprawled on a sofa in the airy, light-soaked living space, or waking up in one of the super king beds (which offer cloud-level comfort), the sea is pretty much always winking at you.

Head upstairs to the dramatic vaulted living area which has huge windows, remote-controlled velux windows and a gorgeous kitchen that makes even a light lunch feel gourmet. Cook on the electric Aga Rangemaster, gather around the reclaimed elm table that seats 10 or relax on the sofa for a film night courtesy of the 55-inch Oled TV. The master bedroom is on this level too, to take advantage of the spectacular views.

Downstairs, the second master suite opens straight onto the terrace, perfect for morning coffee or sunset wine. Zip-and-link bedrooms mean ultimate flexibility for families and groups. The snug, which can be used as a bedroom for extra guests on request, gives children their own hideaway.

Outside, the garden’s a dream: a huge lawn for games, a barbecue for relaxed al fresco dining, and ample space to lounge and soak up the Cornish sunshine. And when you’re ready to explore, you’re just a breezy walk from Carbis Bay beach, the South West Coastal Path, pubs and St Ives itself - a vibrant town full of art, including the Tate gallery, pretty cobbled streets and a wide range of restaurants.

Once you’re standing on that balcony with the sea glittering below, you'll realise this place not only has the 'wow' factor but is also all about making memories: sunlit breakfasts, sandy feet, slow evenings, big family dinners and breathtaking sea views every time you look out of the window.
