Holiday bunkhouse in Snowdonia sleeping 12 for family groups and outdoor pursuit weekends with friends
Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Cefn Coed Bunkhouse, Penmaenpool, Gwynedd, sleeps 10 - 12 in 4 bedrooms.
Cefn Coed Bunkhouse is a historic Welsh farm property with origins dating back to the 17th century. The bunkhouse has been modernised to create comfortable accommodation for a group of 12, with modern comforts while retaining its rustic charm.
Situated 4 miles from Dolgellau in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, this holiday house enjoys an idyllic setting in a sheltered valley of ancient oak woodland, where Cader Idris rolls down into the Mawddach Estuary. Miles of walking, cycling and riding paths are easily accessible directly from the bunkhouse, including the Mawddach Trail, making this area a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. This is an ideal base for large families, groups of friends or those away for a mountain biking, riding or walking break. Club and organisations, corporate team building events and school or youth groups are also most welcome.
The bunkhouse is spread over 2 floors with 4 separate bedrooms with bunkbeds. The kitchen is well equipped with all you might need, including a washing machine in case of poor weather. Large sofas and a big dining table allow everyone to come together in the evening. Outside there are picnic benches, and the bunkhouse is secluded, set well away from the main road in 70 acres of fields and woodland, although adjacent to Welsh Assembly land which is designated for public access.
We aim to provide a memorable and enjoyable stay at Cefn Coed Bunkhouse, and hope that you will return again and again. Please let us know if you have any specific requirements.
