Grimsby is an interesting port town and well worth a visit. It is probably most well know for its fish & chips which can be picked up for supper from any number of restaurants. Steels Restaurant in Cleethorpes is recommended too as probably the best fish & chips in the UK. While you are there, drop into Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre or perhaps arrange a tour of Docks Beers Brewery, popular with stag groups. Hull is also a good day out - Spurn Point is a fascinating stretch of sand and a wildlife haven now, but has a rich military and maritime history. Hull has a museum quarter as well as the Deep Aquarium, something sure to delight the kids.
