An ideal venue for family holidays, reunions of friends, wedding parties and celebrations of all kinds. Available from April to October. At Château d'Aix you will find the rustic atmosphere of the past combined with the comfort of modern times. The castle is extremely well suited for groups up to 24 persons. There are authentic, pleasant living rooms with plenty of room for a large group, and a grand terrace overlooking the valley. In the castle are 12 bedrooms which all have their own specific character, and there are 7 bathrooms in total, 2 of them en suite. Large grounds provide several different opportunities for relaxing and peace and quiet, or lounge by the pool. Table tennis is also provided. The beautiful terrace with stunning views over the village is a wonderful space for outside dining - the focal point for a group during the summer. Catering is available if required - just let us know your requirements. The park and the castle cannot be better described than as the French do: C'est un bon mariage. And the castle is well situated in a wine growing region with tasting available at the next door chateau, and surrounded by pretty traditional villages with wonderful markets and the stunning scenery and rivers of the Dordogne. ## Facilities - **WiFi:** WiFi available. - **Accessibility:** The property is unsuitable for those with mobility issues. - **Dog Friendly:** Pets can be accommodated - please enquire. - **Kitchen:** Nice big fully equipped kitchen. - **Dining Room:** Beautiful dining room with seating for 24 persons max. - **Sitting Room:** Large sejour with sofas and with a big fireplace. Part of the chateau is central heating, the rest is electric heating. We rent the castle just from April till Oct. - **Bedrooms:** Every bedroom has its own charm. All spacious. Some double, some twin, some family rooms. - **Linen:** Linen can be provided at a charge of 10 euros per person. - **Bathrooms:** 7 bathrooms, some with baths, some with showers. 2 are en suite. - **Children's Facilities:** We have cots, high chairs, at no extra cost. - **Outdoor:** Table Tennis. Tennis in the village (1 km). Barbecue and terrace for al fresco dining. A large garden surrounds the chateau. - **Swimming Pool:** 14m by 7m.
