## About The Property

Being just a 40 minute drive from the Ferry and Eurotunnel Terminals, Chateau de Dohem is just a short hop from the UK, making it the ideal choice for a holiday or short break with family and friends without the hassle of long travelling distances. Perfect for special celebrations, hen parties, micro weddings, elopements and spa breaks we are set up with everything you need to make for a memorable stay.  We are pet friendly so bring the whole family.

For hen parties, a fully inclusive drinks and dining package is available, with massage treatments and use of the hot tub, pool and sauna included, as well as party bus transport - please ask for more details!

Set in the heart of a Natural Regional Park, in a tiny hamlet called Dohem, approached through wrought iron gates, there's parking for plenty of cars. The back garden has views over open countryside as far as the eye can see.

The Chateau offers 7 double bedrooms arranged over 2 floors, decorated in a romantic French style. 4 bedrooms have en suite shower rooms, and there is a large family bathroom with a traditional bath and a wet room style shower. Some of the bedrooms have extra day beds so accommodating 14-18 guests.

The Chateau has a spacious lounge with a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings. The dining room table seats 16 people. There's a games room with pool table, study with WiFi and a fully equipped cooks kitchen. The converted barn houses a sauna and massage room.

Outside the kitchen is a decked area with large table and chairs, and across the courtyard is our outdoor bar and Wedding/Event Barn with gothic doors, lovely oak beams, atmospheric lighting and fabulous music system. Ideal for an intimate weddings, vow renewals and special celebrations.

To the rear is a huge multi-level decked area enjoying far reaching views of the countryside and incorporating hot tub with mood lighting and inbuilt music system, outdoor swimming pool with loungers and sauna.

The landscaped gardens have a lawned area with shrub borders, a pergola with rose garden, our 'secret garden' hidden away is home to a pond full of water lilies goldfish and coy carp. A lovely place to sit and dream with a glass of wine.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets are most welcome at no additional charge. We can arrange the vet appointment for your return to UK.
- **Hot Tub:** Wellis hot tub with mood lighting, fountains and built in Bluetooth. It's fabulous!
- **WiFi:** WiFi in the study.
- **Kitchen:** Fully stocked kitchen, range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer; treble fridge, Nespresso, dishwasher. Pantry/utility room with washer and dryer.
- **Dining Room:** The cosy dining room seats a maximum of 16.
- **Sitting Room:** Large, light and airy lounge with 3 large sofas and comfortable chairs, flat screen TV, wood burning stove, bar area, games table and chairs.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Lounge has flat screen TV/DVD/Karaoke, games room has flat screen TV, ground floor has Sonos system you can stream your music via Deezer/Spotify.
- **Games Room:** With pool table and flat screen TV and comfortable seating.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Oil fired central heating throughout and wood burning stove in the lounge.
- **Bedrooms:** 7 Bedrooms (4 with en suite shower). 6 bedrooms within the Chateau and one a few steps across the Courtyard.
- **Linen:** All bed linen and towels are provided.
- **Bathrooms:** 4 en suite showers, 1 family bathroom with bath and large walk-in shower, 2 separate toilets. 1 shower/toilet block to service outside decked area.
- **Children's Facilities:** 1 cot, 2 high chairs, 2 stair gates.
- **Outdoor:** Terraces with tables, chairs and loungers, landscaped gardens, gas and charcoal BBQs, fire bowl, giant Paella pan. Private pool, hot tub and sauna.
- **Swimming Pool:** Large outdoor private swimming pool (heated from Easter to September but can be heated for an additional £250 per week out of season).
- **Parking:** Large graveled area for many cars/minibus.
- **Smoking:** No smoking inside the Chateau. Smoking is allowed outdoors.
