Our luxury Chateau in Northern France is currently being featured on the Channel 4 hit series Chateau DIY.

Located an easy 40 minute drive from both the Ferry and Eurotunnel Terminals, Chateau de Dohem is the ideal choice for a holiday or short break from the UK, hen parties and spa breaks, with special packages available. Perfect for a holiday in France, but without the hassle of long travelling distances.

Chateau de Dohem looks just like a fairytale castle; set in the heart of a Natural Regional Park, in a tiny hamlet called Dohem, hidden behind a high wall and approached through wrought iron gates, there's parking for plenty of cars. The back garden has views over rolling countryside as far as the eye can see.

The current custodians, Marcus and Wendy Clark, have lovingly restored the Chateau throughout, and it now offers 7 double bedrooms arranged over 2 floors decorated in a gorgeous 'shabby chic' style. 4 of the bedrooms have en suite shower rooms, and there is a large family bathroom with a traditional bath and a wet room style shower. 3 larger bedrooms have single day beds with truckle under.

The Chateau has a spacious, light and airy lounge with a wood burning stove for cosy winter evenings. The dining room seats up to 16 people. There's a games room with pool table, study with WiFi and a fully equipped cooks kitchen. The converted barn houses a sauna and treatment room for a relaxing massage.

Outside the kitchen is a decked area with table and chairs, and across the courtyard is our newly converted Wedding Barn with gothic doors, lovely oak beams and atmospheric lighting. Ideal for an intimate wedding or other celebration.

To the rear of the property is a huge multi-level decked area enjoying far reaching views and incorporating brand new hot tub with mood lighting, fountains and in build music system, swimming pool with loungers and sauna.

The landscaped gardens have a lawned area and shrub borders, and a separate 'secret garden' hidden away is home to a pond full of water lilies, goldfish and coy carp. A lovely place to sit and dream with a glass of wine, listening to the fountain and surrounded by beautiful scents.
