Set in the heart of south west France, this historic 14th century manor combines character, comfort and beautiful surroundings with a relaxed, unstuffy atmosphere where everyone can feel at home. And there's plenty to enjoy during your stay - local markets and restaurants, thermal spa facilities, fantastic motorbiking routes, hiking and cycling, adventurous activities including climbing and rafting, fishing and watersports, skiing in season...something for everyone. And, surrounded by acres of peaceful parkland and wildflower meadows, and with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees, the setting of the chateau itself provides a beautiful backdrop for those guests who prefer to relax on site over long lunches, leisurely afternoons by the pool and evenings spent together over good food and wine. The spacious, recently refurbished interiors blend historic charm with modern comforts, including a well equipped kitchen and dining area, a large salon with a wood burning stove, and a choice of comfortable bedrooms and suites sleeping 11. Balconies, a private terrace and outdoor dining areas make the most of the sunshine and mountain views. Gather for meals together and celebrations in the events space, or find a quieter corner to escape to with a book. Taking the Gatehouse too will extend the accommodation to a total of 13 - please enquire for availability. The château is also a beautiful and distinctive setting for a small wedding (the tree-lined drive is worthy of any bride-to-be, and there's a characterful historic chapel for a ceremony) or a small business get together. With exclusive use of the estate, total privacy is assured. Despite its peaceful rural setting, the estate is conveniently located close to village amenities, with a restaurant and bar within walking distance and the local church nearby.
