It is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and embrace its peacefulness. The château can be booked by one group at a time which gives you the exclusive use of the entire domain. For a quiet weekend away with friends, a family holiday or a large family reunion, La Carrière can accommodate up to 16 guests. The château can also be booked for weddings or special events.  Repeatedly renovated, the château has been modernized to offer you all the comfort you can expect from luxury accommodation. It has 8 elegant bedrooms, 7 of them en suite, a cosy living room, a large sunny terrace, a refined dining room and a well equipped kitchen. There's also a private bar, a fully equipped gym with Jacuzzi and a proper cinema. In addition to the elegant decor, the unique location of the château makes this a reknowned holiday destination for the whole family. You will be charmed by its tranquility. In the large domain, you will find a newly renovated swimming pool (12x6m) with sun loungers and a pool house, a lake and a children playground. You will have access to a range of fun activities to entertain all your family and friends, including a ping pong table, archery, volleyball, badminton and pétanque.  We offer a range of services for you and your group to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable, from massages to a private chef or housekeeping - please contact us for more information. The beautiful town of Sarlat la Canéda is 20 km away, with many castles and beautiful villages and gardens less than 15 minute drive, including Château de Beynac, Marqueyssac Gardens, Château de Campagne, Gouffre de Proumeyssac, Château des Milandes (last home of Josephine Baker), Château de Castelnaud, Eyrignac Gardens, La Roque Gageac, Les Eyzies, Domme. The Dordogne is said to have 1000 castles, from magnificent fortresses dating from the 14th century to fairy tale country estates. Lascaux is 35min away There are many beautiful chateaux around us: Château de Beynac, Castelnaud and Milandes are only 15km away.  The gorgeous town of Sarlat is 20km away. It has one of the best market of the Dordogne.  La Roque Gageac and the Marquessac gardens are close and definitely a must do in the area.
