This gorgeous family holiday house overlooking the incredible Torbay is an absolute jewel. Not only does Cliff Lodge have luxury spacious living accommodation inside, it's pretty spectacular outside as well. A newly built covered swimming pool complex means that this wonderful property is great in any season. A sunken hot tub, sun terrace, outside dining and magical sunny corners create an idyllic holiday location for 3 generation families and friends gathering to celebrate a special occasion.
The beauty of Cliff Lodge is that there is so much space and choice. A gorgeous new kitchen has every modern appliance imaginable to make preparation of group meals easy. It's possible to hire in caterers for a celebration feast, served in the formal dining room, conservatory or outdoors on the terrace. There are 2 fantastic lounges with floor to ceiling picture windows and French door access to glass balconies, as well as the latest Sky Q Sony Oled TVs. The games room has a full sized snooker table, table football and its own bar area with jukebox for in-house entertainment and family fun. For keep fit fanatics there is also a gym in the house.
The large bedrooms add to the luxurious experience of staying at Cliff Lodge. There are 2 lower ground floor rooms with a shared bathroom and the other 4 rooms are upstairs. All are individually designed with yet again more sea views, lovely soft furnishings and en suite facilities.
Cliff Lodge is set within 2 acres of fabulous gardens and grounds including a paddock area which is popular with youngsters wanting a run around or a game of football. Direct access onto the South West Coastal Path is ideal for keen walkers and those who want to get to the stunning beaches and coves along this stretch. The house is a short drive away from the thriving seaside town of Torquay, great for sea swimming, paddleboarding or a day at the beach and an ice cream. Torquay has some excellent eateries including The Elephant, a Michelin starred restaurant overlooking the harbour and a recommended visit. Head down the coast to the traditional seaside resorts of Paignton and Brixham to watch the boats come in and pick up some fresh fish for supper. Outdoor enthusiasts can reach Dartmoor in 30 minutes.
