## About The Property

Clyne Farm Centre offers a relaxed and flexible base for groups looking to spend time together, with space, fresh air and the coast close by. Set above Swansea Bay and looking out towards Dylan Thomas’ “splendidly curving shore”, our nine well-kept self-catering cottages are spread across two peaceful settings.

Across the site we can sleep 2 to 51 guests in 9 cottages, making Clyne Farm ideal for extended families, mixed-age groups and friends gathering for a shared break.

On the main farm site, seven cottages sit around a central courtyard, creating a natural hub for groups while still allowing privacy. These cottages sleep between 4 and 8 guests, with three able to interconnect to sleep up to 14. In total, the farm cottages sleep 35. They overlook open countryside and the coast, and feel calm and peaceful even when the farm is full.

Our two woodland cottages, The Keeper’s Cottage and Barn Owl Lodge, are tucked away in Clyne Valley Country Park, a short drive from the farm. Surrounded by ancient woodland, they each sleep 8 guests and can interconnect to sleep 16, offering more privacy while remaining close to everything the area has to offer.

All cottages are fully furnished, dog-friendly, and inspected by Visit Wales, with ratings of 3 or 4 Star.

For groups booking multiple cottages, our 400-year-old Stone Corn Barn and kitchen can be hired for shared meals, board games and relaxed evenings together. Seating is provided for up to 35 guests, with space for more informal gatherings.

On site, guests can book horse riding for children and adults, or take on Challenge Valley, our famously muddy outdoor assault course. We are perfectly placed at the gateway to the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with beaches, coastal walks and countryside all close by.

The city of Swansea and the seaside village of Mumbles are just three miles away, offering plenty of cafés, pubs and restaurants for easy days out.

Clyne Farm is a welcoming, family-run place for groups who want to slow down, explore, and enjoy being together.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Pets are allowed and chargeable at £5 per pet per night. Dogs must not be left unattended.
- **Accessibility:** Walk-in wet rooms in The Keeper's Cottage and The Old Schoolroom.
- **Hot Tub:** Due to environmental concerns, we do not offer hot tubs.
- **WiFi:** Free and fast WiFi is available in all cottages. Mobile phone reception is generally good.
- **Kitchen:** Ovens and hobs, fridge with freezer comp. or separate freezer, microwave, washer/drier, dishwasher (no washing machine or dishwasher in Byron's Barn).
- **Dining Room:** Cottages have dining seating for all cottage guests. Stone Corn Barn can be booked to seat multiple cottage guests together.
- **Sitting Room:** TV with Roku stick streaming. DVD player. Seating for all guests in all cottages.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** TV with Roku stick streaming. DVD player.
- **Games Room:** Stone Corn Barn hire for groups to dine together. Onsite horse riding and muddy assault course. All chargeable and need to be booked in advance.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** All cottages have central heating. There are wood-burners in The Keeper's Cottage and The Old Schoolroom.
- **Bedrooms:** All have their own entrance (not through another bedroom). En suite in Keeper's Cottage, Barn Owl Lodge and Horseshoe Cottage. Doubles, twins, bunks.
- **Linen:** All bed linen and towels provided.
- **Bathrooms:** Bathroom with over-bath shower in all cottages. Larger cottages have additional shower rooms, ensuite in The Keeper's, Barn Owl and Horseshoe Cottage.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots, high chairs and stair gates are available on request for free.
- **Outdoor:** Some have private garden areas. Surrounded by 1500 acres of common land and 750 acres of the Clyne Valley Country Park. Direct access to Gower AONB.
- **Swimming Pool:** Swansea Leisure Centre with a water theme park is 3 miles away, Gower beaches start within 3 miles.
- **Parking:** Sufficient off street parking for cars, minibuses, coaches (minibuses but no coaches at The Keeper's Cottage/Barn Owl Lodge).
- **Smoking:** Smoking is not permitted.
- **Tennis Court:** There are tennis courts at a great family beach - Langland Bay. Just a 10 min drive away.
- **Electric Vehicle Charging:** Two EV chargers at the main Clyne Farm site. A charging point is coming soon at the Woodland Cottages site.
- **Sauna:** No sauna on site, but there are beach saunas nearby.

## Booking Information

- Changeovers can be on any day of the week. Bookings are secured by a 25% deposit. We are very pet friendly!
- 
- Guests staying in any of our cottages are welcome to book the Stone Corn Barn for daytime use. To secure evening use, all seven farm cottages need to be booked.
- 
- Note: We understand that some guests are looking for exclusive hire where only their group/party will be at the accommodation location. We are not suitable for these groups. We do not offer exclusive hire of either of our sites. Clyne Farm Centre is open 7 days a week for horse riding and other activities so there may be other people at the farm during your stay. There are also popular footpaths connecting the farm to Clyne Common. The same is true for The Keeper’s Cottage & Barn Owl Lodge – there are popular footpaths and bridle paths crisscrossing the Country Park where they are located. These paths offer fantastic walking routes for guests, right from your front door!

Clyne Farm Centre is located within the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoying a peaceful hillside position above Swansea Bay, with open views across the coast and surrounding countryside. Although it feels quietly rural, the farm is easy to reach, located around 6 miles from the M4, making arrival straightforward for groups travelling from further afield.

The main farm cottages are just 3 miles from Swansea city centre, where you’ll find shops, cafés, restaurants and the marina, and close to the start of Gower’s beaches and coastal paths. The seaside village of Mumbles is also nearby, offering independent shops, pubs and an easy place to spend time by the sea.

Our two woodland cottages, The Keeper’s Cottage and Barn Owl Lodge, are set separately within Clyne Valley Country Park, a short drive from the farm. Reached via a mile-long stone track through ancient woodland, they feel more secluded and private, while still being within Gower and close enough to enjoy the coast, the city and on-site activities at Clyne Farm.

Together, the two locations offer a choice between being at the heart of the farm or tucked away in woodland, both with easy access to Gower’s beaches, Swansea, and the wider South Wales coast.
