Just a short walk from the harbour, small beach, pub, coffee shop and art gallery, Coastguard Cottage is perfect for multi generational families, groups of friends and couples away together for a reunion, holiday or to celebrate a milestone birthday on the Northumberland Coast, on England's Coastal Path. Living areas are stylish in design using reclaimed wood for kitchen units and with an exposed brick fireplace housing a cosy wood burner in the  lounge. Cook for everyone on the range cooker and sit down at the long dining table (more reclaimed wood) to shoot the breeze over great food and wine. Afterwards, settle down on squashy sofas for a nightcap or to watch a favourite series streamed on the Smart TV. The garden (set away from the property) is a great space for the children in your group to let off steam on the lawns, with the raised deck with harbour views ideal for a family picnic or drinks at sundown. Opt for a quiet morning coffee outside the back door at the small bistro table while you consider your plans for the day ahead. The ground floor master bedroom with en suite is ideal for anyone in the group who prefers not to do stairs. Upstairs there's a king bedroom and 2 twins, flexible for an extended family meet up. Bathroom facilities are plentiful for a group of 8 guests and include a roll top tub in the family bathroom. Perfectly positioned for all that the Northumberland Coast has to offer, Coastguard Cottage is close to great beaches including Embleton and Sugar Sands. Head out for a coastal walk up to Dunstanburgh Castle. Visit Alnwick and its impressive castle used as a film set in both Harry Potter and Downton Abbey.
