## About The Property

Coed Owen 4 star Bunkhouse provides fully equipped self-contained accommodation suitable for large or small groups and families who wish to spend some time exploring this beautiful area. Walkers, cyclists, fishermen and all who enjoy being in the countryside will be welcome at Coed Owen Farm. Stag and hen groups also welcome.

With a newly renovated interior to sleep up to 26 and fitted with all modern conveniences, our bunkhouse is perfect for family celebrations, group visits, school trips and 'getaway from it all' stays.

Spend some time exploring the beautiful outdoors found right on our doorstep. Coed Owen provides an easy gateway between the city and the Brecon Beacons. Enjoy walks, hiking, fishing, cycling and adventure activities, or simply relax in our warm, cosy bunkhouse.

We have plenty of field space to play outdoor games and barbecue area.

We also offer secure lock-up facilities for bikes, canoes.

The Rees family farm approximately 3000 Brecon Beacons hill type sheep which graze the Brecon Beacons hills for most of the year. The Rees children, Molly, Jack and George, were keen to diversify their farming business, and hence the creation of Coed Owen Bunkhouse.

The bunkhouse was an existing barn situated on the farmyard and used for housing livestock and wool. This barn has now been converted into a modern bunkhouse and enhanced by keeping many of the original features.

A warm and friendly greeting awaits those who visit us and we will do our very best to accommodate all your needs during your stay in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

- **Accessibility:** Disabled Facilities include 6 ground floor bunk beds, double room, fully equipped disabled shower and WC.
- **Dog Friendly:** We do not accept pets as the accommodation is situated on a working sheep farm.
- **Kitchen:** Modern, stainless steel kitchen filled with all the utensils you need.
- **Dining Room:** 3 large stainless steel dinning tables with comfortable benches.
- **Sitting Room:** 2 large sofas in main building and comfortable sitting area in outside room in front of wood burner.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** We have a fantastic overhead projector to watch movies on. You can also connect your laptop to the screen. There is a radio/CD/iPod player to enjoy.
- **Games Room:** We have a separate games room in which you will find a dart board and cosy sitting area in front of the wood burner.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** We have a wood burner in our games room. Oil fired central heating system throughout the main building.
- **Bedrooms:** 2 x 6 bed dorm room, 10 bed dorm room, double room, twin room.
- **Linen:** All bed linen provided.
- **Bathrooms:** We have 5 toilets in the building and 5 showers in 3 separate shower rooms.
- **Children's Facilities:** We welcome children of all ages to Coed Owen Bunkhouse. There is a good selection of children s DVDs, books and board games available.
- **Outdoor:** We have a large patio and BBQ area. We also have plenty of field space for outdoor games. We have direct access to the Brecon Beacons hill of the yard
- **Swimming Pool:** Our nearest swimming pool is situated in Merthyr Tydfil just 6 miles away.
- **Parking:** We have our own private parking. We can accommodate mini buses and cars.
- **Smoking:** Smoking is permitted in our designated smoking area outside.
