Set in the idyllic Pennines, Coldwell offers a remote feel but is easily accessible (10 minutes from the M65).

Facilities

Dog Friendly

1 (or 2 if they live together) well behaved dog allowed to be kept downstairs. Good kennels nearby too. Charge of £50 per stay applied for cleaning.

Disabled Facilities

The entire Centre is accessible to all our guests. Lift to first floor. Wheelchair accessible wet room with changing bed, shower and toilet chair.

WiFi

Free 4G WiFi available. We have a private landline that can be put our tuck shop that leaders can use (schools and youth groups only).

Kitchen

Self catered groups have use of the industrial steel kitchen, with a dishwasher, large oven, microwaves, fridge/freezer, bain-marie, warming oven.

Dining Room

Chairs and tables for large groups, with extra fridge and freezer. Large glass windows with lovely views over the water and view of the play area.

Sitting Room

Large lounge with comfortable sofas, Smart 50'' TV with DVD and Freeview. Next to the games room.

TV and Music Facilities

50'' SmartTV with Freeview, DVD Player. Consoles set up with cinema style 80" projector screen.

Games Room

Pool, air hockey and table football available in our games room, with piano. Outdoor cabin with table tennis. Outdoor gym.

Heating and Open Fires

Full central heating throughout with electricity and oil included in the price. Please be mindful and switch light off etc when not in use.

Bedrooms

13 bedrooms, 3 with en suite facilities. 2 downstairs bedrooms, 1 with adjoining wetroom. Some have lovely views. Bedroom plan available on website.

Linen

We provide duvet, 2 pillows, mattress protector. Bedding covers for hire or bring your own. We will send a current quote with your enquiry.

Bathrooms

3 en suites, 3 shower rooms & 2 separate toilets upstairs. Downstairs wet room, 3 toilets downstairs. Washbasins/mirrors in rooms. Bring own towels.

Children's Facilities

Outdoor play area for the under 10's with picnic benches. Playing field ideal for outdoor games. Free kids orienteering course in the woods.

Swimming Pool

There is no pool.

Parking

Private parking for approx 32 cars, gate can be closed for privacy and safety with CCTV.

Smoking

No smoking inside the Centre, there are designated areas to smoke outside the building.

Booking Information

10% off all bookings between January-end of March
Non-refundable 10% deposit to secure booking, full balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. We recommend you take holiday insurance.
Sunday departures include free late check-outs (up to 3pm April -end of Sept, up to 12 noon Oct to end of March).

Located at the foot of Deerstone Moor, nestled between the two Coldwell Reservoirs. With moors surrounding the building with the benefit of having a woodland and views over the water.

The trendy market town of Colne approximately 2.5 miles away. Nelson is approximately 2.5 miles away. Burnley is around 4 miles away.
Spar is 5 minutes drive and Morrisons, Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys are all within 15 minutes away. We regularly get Asda deliveries here. Trawden village shop is 5 mins drive and has petrol station.
Nearest pub approx 1.5 miles (country views), nearest restaurant at Colne approx 2.5 miles. A wide choice available. Nelson and Colne both have many takeaways.
Manchester – approx 30 miles.Leeds Bradford - approx 35 miles.Blackpool - approx 40 miles.
Both Nelson and Colne approx 2.5 miles. Burnley 4 miles.
