Our Conway Centre adventure holidays and courses are for everyone, from beginners to advanced participants. Based on a National Trust site on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in North Wales, we are centrally located to all the outstanding outdoor activity venues in the region that has become known as the Adventure Capital of Europe, and we are one of the only companies in North Wales which provides private and bespoke adventure activity courses with your own personal and qualified tutor. Conway Centre is a perfect location for your group holiday, for families, friends, school groups and all types of organisations.

Whether you want to stay overnight and experience our all-inclusive package with activities, meals and accommodation included, or want to visit for an adventure day, we have everything in one place to suit you!

Away from the distractions of modern life, our Adventure Holidays and Days are perfect to make lifelong memories with your loved ones and group, all whilst trying new things. We aim to give a variety of activities during your stay which will ensure there is never a dull moment.

Anglesey accommodates up to 435 people, in standard dormitory-style accommodation and across 6 separate buildings of different sizes.

Disabled Facilities

The centre has a number of specialist access rooms for disabled people.

Dog Friendly

Unfortunately, no pets apart from guide dogs are allowed on site.

Kitchen

All inclusive packages. Self catering also available.

Dining Room

The main dining hall can seat 300+ with two smaller dining spaces catering for 30 and 40.

Sitting Room

Each accommodation unit has access to a sitting room area where you have access to drinks making facilities.

TV and Music Facilities

Some sitting rooms have TVs. The centre has a fully fitted disco room.

Games Room

Each accommodation building has its own social room offering TV, drinks making facilities and space to sit and relax.

Heating and Open Fires

The accommodation units all have central heating.

Bedrooms

Most rooms have single beds and occasionally bunk beds. Rooms vary from single occupants to groups of 10, with a variety of intermediary options.

Linen

Linen is provided and included in the cost of the accommodation.

Bathrooms

The accommodation units have a mixture of en suite and shared use bathrooms.

Children's Facilities

The centre has two adventure playgrounds within its grounds. As the centre is primarily used for school residential trips the site is safe and secure.

Outdoor

The centre has a number of useful outdoor spaces such as a Tipi and Yurt. We can also arrange outdoor and arts activities for visitors if required.

Swimming Pool

The nearest swimming pools are in Bangor and Llangefni.

Parking

The Conway Centre has ample parking facilities for all residents.

Smoking

All indoor areas are non-smoking.

The centre occupies 169 acres of National Trust parkland and gardens which extend down to the Menai Strait. It has easy access to the coastal path.

Bus stop on A4080 is 200 metres from the centre, Menai Bridge bus station is 3.5 miles away.
2 miles from Llanfairpwll Railway Station; 5.5 miles from Bangor Railway Station.
Only 1 mile away from Llanfairpwll and 4 miles from Bangor.
Llanfairpwll has a Co-op supermarket, Bangor has a Tesco Extra, Asda and Morrison's and Menai Bridge has a Waitrose.
Llanfairpwll has a number of pubs, fish & chips.
17 miles from Anglesey Airport; 85 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport; 95 miles from Manchester Airport.
