Coolclogher House is a stunning country mansion set within a walled private estate in the heart of the Kerry countryside, surrounded by parkland, terraces and mature gardens.

The 7 de luxe en suite bedrooms can be organised to suit guests with a choice of superkings, triples, twins and singles, excellent for groups wanting flexible choice and privacy. Facilities are top notch and all provide generous spaces for maximum indulgence and comfort.

This property is perfect for many kinds of group gatherings including friends reunions, family holidays, celebrations and weddings, corporate events, golfers, walkers, cyclists and fishing weekends. We have hosted many group retreats too, with plenty of room for activities in the house and gardens - combine this with sightseeing for a special retreat.

There's no shortage of things to do in this unique part of Ireland on the world famous Ring of Kerry route and the Wild Atlantic Way, near the beautiful lakes and mountains of Killarney. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this lovely house or explore locally with a walk to Ross Castle or nearby bustling Killarney.

Be impressed by the opulence of the reception hall and magnificent staircase, an ideal place for a photo opportunity. The beautifully restored sitting rooms offer somewhere for everyone to gather in front of marble open fireplaces with plenty of sumptuous seating and views to the grounds through fabulous period windows. Fresh floral arrangements are a further special touch to add to the charm of this lovely house.

Formal dining for 12 is in a separate plush room and the spacious kitchen has a large table, great for all visitors to share a relaxed group meal. Outside caterers will come in and prepare a celebration feast by prior arrangement with the owners.

Coolclogher is a first rate base from which to take day trips including a visit to Dingle, Kenmare, the Blarney Castle and Stone or Glengarriff. Golfers will find this house heaven with so many renowned courses nearby including Tralee, Waterville and Killarney clubs.

Seating for 12 in formal dining room. Huge farmhouse table for all guests. Al fresco dining also available.
2 beautiful sitting rooms with luxurious soft furnishings and comfortable seating. Welcoming open fires and period features. Victorian conservatory.
Two TVs with Sky channels, DVD player and music system.
WiFi is available throughout the property.
Guests can enjoy playing outdoor table tennis, board games or listen to music from the library at Coolclogher.
There are open fires in reception rooms and a wood burning stove in the large kitchen. Central heating throughout the property.
7 bedrooms each with own bathroom. Superkings, triples, twins or singles to suit the group. Individual decor, huge windows with views.
Luxurious bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. Roll top baths with luxury fixtures and fittings. There is also a separate shower room downstairs.
The property is not wheelchair accessible.
A high chair and travel cot are available upon request.
There is fantastic parkland and mature gardens surrounding the manor with a patio area for guests to enjoy views and al fresco dining. Ample seating.
No pool on site but guests have access to a heated indoor swimming pool 5 minutes from the property.
There is ample on site secure parking.
No smoking inside the property please.
Pets are not permitted at Coolclogher House.

Location

Located 2km from Killarney and within walking distance of Ross Castle. Just off main Killarney-Tralee road close to Killarney National Park. On Ring Of Kerry driving route. Short drive to beaches.
Killarney is a busy little town that marks the start and finish of the 200km Kerry Way walking trail.
Tesco Superstore and an Aldi 2km from the property in Killarney.
There is a range of pubs and restaurants in Killarney to suit everyone including Yew Tree, Rozzers and Murphy's Bar.

Booking Information

Weekly stays only - no short breaks available. A deposit is required to secure the booking and the balance is due before arrival. Check in from 4pm, check out by 9am. Pets are not allowed in Coolclogher House.
