If a special meal is required for a big birthday then enquire about private dining in the events space, the Loft Space seating up to 80, which is available for separate hire, also for wedding celebrations and corporate events. Other catering options are also available - the fish and chips horse box on site is very popular.
The Mill House is available for most of the year on a private self catering basis, with access to the commercial kitchen in the house. During high season, Mill House is serviced accommodation with a continental breakfast provided and no access to the kitchen. There is a cosy lounge area for catching up with drinks next to an open turf and log fire, and a private dining room seating around 25 which can be used for corporate events too. There's a wine bar seating up to 30 available in the house, for the private use of Mill House guests all year round. The bedrooms are generally doubles or twins although quad rooms with bunks are available for families. 6 rooms have en suites.
The Railway Carriage is self catering with the adjacent Railway Lounge offering kitchen, dining area and lounge space, again with an open fire. This is a wonderful option for families, a quirky place to stay which will appeal to younger members of your group. The Railway Carriage has 2 doubles and 3 bunk rooms (each with 2 sets of bunks) and there are plentiful bathrooms and a toilet and shower block at the end of the carriage.
The grounds include a mill stream, river walk, meditation cave, lawns and camp fire area for everyone to enjoy. Other outside spaces work well for family games, picnics and business team building activities. There are numerous places to exercise 4 legged friends for those staying in the dog friendly railway carriage.
There are 7 golden sandy beaches, a forest park with nature trails, the 200 metre Horn Head sea cliffs and historic Doe Castle all within easy reach. Dunfanaghy is fast becoming a surfing hotspot with some of the best waves in Ireland. Sea safaris, cycling, musical and food tours are perfect for a day out or as some bonding time with the team from the office.
