## About The Property

Impressive yet welcoming, Corffe is an 18th century Grade II listed Georgian country house. Today the property has been transformed from a family residence into a fantastic holiday house that sleeps up to 22.

The house is ideal for family gatherings and group celebrations due to its idyllic location and first class facilities, including a cinema room, shared indoor heated pool with hot tub, tennis court and not to mention uninterrupted views over the beautiful Devon countryside that make for an unforgettable stay. If your group extends beyond 22 then why not hire one of our cottages situated behind the main house? The former stables have been lovingly restored to create nine cottages. Sleeping from 2 -10 the cottages can accommodate an additional 47 guests!

Corffe House offers a well-equipped family kitchen with a choice of ovens, two large and comfortable reception rooms and a grand dining room, giving you the ability to be together but also the space to relax.

Upstairs there are two floors of bedrooms. Six offer super king beds with an additional two twin rooms and a bespoke bunk bed room There are eight bathrooms, some of which offer freestanding baths while others provide bath or shower facilities.

At the side of the house there is a second staircase that takes you to the sophisticated cinema room with 3.5m screen and 4K projector. Within the same room there is a 7ft professional standard pool table for you to enjoy.

Corffe House is located in five acres of grounds with parking and landscaped gardens including a terrace, lawn and large pond. Additional facilities include an adventure play area and barbecue hut which, like the pool complex and tennis court, are shared with Corffe Cottages.

Corffe offers the beauty of a rural retreat but is within minutes of the bustling market town of Barnstaple where you can pick up your holiday essentials and more. If stunning beaches and entertaining attractions are what you are after, then Corffe is perfectly positioned to allow you to head east to the likes of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton or west to Westward Ho! and Instow.

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Two dogs are permitted at the discretion of the management and subject to conditions. An additional charge of £50 applies.
- **Accessibility:** There are no specific facilities for disabled guests.
- **Hot Tub:** This is located in the pool house and can be enjoyed during your daily exclusive pool slots.
- **WiFi:** High speed fibre.
- **Kitchen:** Shaker style kitchen with seating for 12. Choice of Aga and Rangemaster ovens, microwave, 2 dishwashers, 3 fridges, 2 freezer and coffee machine.
- **Dining Room:** The spacious dining room is perfectly suited to dinner parties with its 18th century antique table that can seat 22.
- **Sitting Room:** One offers ample comfortable seating with 65 inch TV and feature fireplace, other can be used as a snug or playroom depending on makeup of party.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** In addition to the 65 inch TV in the main lounge the cinema room offers a 3.5m screen with full Sky package (Sport and Movies).
- **Games Room:** The cinema room is also home to a 7ft professional English standard pool table and the cinema screen is connected to a PlayStation 5.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The house benefits from oil fired heating and an open fire on the ground floor.
- **Bedrooms:** 6 large super king rooms with additional day beds (permanent full size singles with proper mattresses), 2 twins, bunk room.
- **Linen:** All beds are made up prior to arrival with hand and bath towels, bathmats and tea towels provided.
- **Bathrooms:** The house has eight bathrooms, six of which are en suite.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots, high chairs, monitors, stair-gates, changing mats, toddler steps as well toys, books and games.
- **Outdoor:** Private terraced area with garden furniture and BBQ as well as lawns and pond. Shared woodland with barbecue hut, tennis court and play equipment.
- **Swimming Pool:** Heated indoor pool (9 x 6m), shallow paddling pool and a hot tub for those wanting to relax. Booking system for daily exclusive use.
- **Parking:** Ample gated parking adjacent to the house with free EV charger.
- **Smoking:** Smoking is not permitted inside the property or any buildings associated with the property.
