The wedding planners work really hard to give the happy couple the best bespoke experience possible for their special day. You can opt to hold the ceremony in a local church, or gather in the magnificent light filled atrium to tie the knot in front of loved ones. The dining room seating 65 can be set up as you wish, at either banquet or circular tables, decked with beautiful flowers and tableware. If you wish to invite up to 120 guests then it’s possible to pitch a marquee on the lawn at Cortes House for the wedding feast and late night dancing. A wedding group hires Cortes House on an exclusive use basis for the weekend so that up to 30 friends and family can join them to extend the festivities. Get together for a pre wedding day dinner the night before and enjoy a relaxed night before the main event. Share breakfast in the dining hall or kitchen before getting ready over a celebratory glass of fizz and then it’s just a short stroll to the ceremony. The lounges are perfect for guests to gather in smaller groups over a whisky or more fizz. The games room and home cinema on the lower ground floor provide the perfect space for the youngsters to gather and have fun. The 12 bedrooms at Cortes House are spread across 3 floors and include a bridal suite, 4 posters, family rooms and triples for a mixed gathering. 9 bathrooms ensure plenty of facilities including whirlpool baths in 2 of the bedrooms for luxury and indulgence.
