Sleeps 9 - 18 9 Bedrooms 30 Dining

Luxury dog friendly holiday houses near Glastonbury sleeping 18 for family get togethers, weekends with friends and special celebrations

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Cossington Park Estate, Cossington, Bridgwater, Somerset, sleeps 9 - 18 in 9 bedrooms.

At the heart of one of England's finest tourist locations, Cossington Park Estate is a period home for families, friends, reunions, and as a retreat or film set. Corporate events, well-being workshops including yoga and spirituality retreats, and intimate weddings with a wedding licence for ceremonies in a choice of settings. Set in 22 acres of beautifully maintained gardens and grounds.

Park House (VisitBritain 5 star gold award) sleeps 12 adults and up to 7 children in 6 beautiful, individually decorated luxurious bedrooms (plus Pooh's Corner with two sofa beds).

Park Cottage sleeps a further 6 - an ideal option for those seeking extra privacy, or perhaps older members of a multi-generational group. One ground-floor bedroom and wheelchair-accessible bathroom.

Beautiful ground floor rooms for you to enjoy include the Drawing Room, Morning Room and Library Dining Room, all opening onto very extensive and peaceful gardens with enough space for the whole group to gather together. The Dining Room seats up to 30, the perfect setting for a special celebration dinner.

With the Estate owned by the same family for 400 years and full of family antiques, paintings and history, the many unusual pieces include the dolphins in the Library fireplace, which were the wheel supports of The Devonshire, one of the ships captained by owner's grandfather, rear-Admiral Cathcart Romer Wason.

The large, farmhouse-style Old Kitchen, Pantry Breakfast Room and Larder Laundry have modern conveniences to make your stay enjoyable, but are filled with the character that make this house so special.

The house and gardens are looked after by a dedicated and caring team and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service. We can suggest some superb cooks if you would like someone to prepare for a special occasion and a range of on-site and off-site activities. We can also hire in a hot tub, at an extra charge.

We do everything to ensure that your stay is relaxing, enjoyable and memorable. We will visit soon after your arrival to make sure that you can find everything you need and to show you how things work. We provide a generous welcome hamper of local foods.
