In the heart of Connemara, and on the Wild Atlantic Way, Costelloe Lodge is a magnificent Edwardian country manor house offering historic elegance and an unforgettable setting for large multi generational family gatherings, holidays with friends, corporate retreats and intimate wedding celebrations. Surrounded by spectacular sea, river and mountain views, the lodge overlooks the famous Twelve Pins mountain range and the peaceful beauty of the west coast of Ireland.

Originally designed for Bruce Ismay, owner of the Titanic, this is a holiday house rich in character, heritage and atmosphere. Carefully restored to reflect its Edwardian charm, the house is filled with original features, elegant interiors and welcoming spaces designed for group gatherings, where relaxing and celebrating together are important.

Costelloe Lodge has a number of reception rooms, allowing guests to enjoy both social occasions and quieter moments throughout their stay. The large reception room and elegant drawing room provide inviting spaces for drinks, celebrations, meetings or evenings by the fire, while the dining room is perfect for memorable shared meals. To relax in a quieter setting, head to the bright sun room, games room or breakfast room.

Sleeping up to 18 guests across 8 spacious bedrooms, the accommodation includes a choice of double, twin, and family style bedrooms, with several featuring en suite facilities and with additional shared bathrooms catering for different group arrangements.

Outside, the beautifully landscaped gardens create a peaceful and scenic backdrop for outdoor dining and special occasions, with plenty of opportunities for capturing family photographs. Overlooking the Casla River and surrounded by the wild natural beauty of Connemara, the grounds offer space to unwind and reconnect in complete tranquility.

Costelloe Lodge is a great house for bringing a group together with plenty to enjoy during your stay - fishing, kayaking, coastal villages and beautiful beaches, golf courses and scenic walking trails are all within easy reach. Carraroe, the nearest village 5 minutes away, has shops and pubs.

The house is around 2 hours away (or a shorter helicopter ride) from the venue for the Ryder Cup 2027.
