A stunning 5 bedroom property, Cot Cottage is a truly exceptional and spacious detached property. The cottage consists of a super king size bedroom, 3 king size bedrooms and a twin bedroom.

Cot Cottage is a wonderfully unique property and is a popular holiday venue for a large group of friends or an extended family. The cottage is in a picture perfect setting near to the pretty harbour town of Kirkcudbright and Scotland's designated food town, Castle Douglas.

The stone cottage has been lovingly restored creating a stylish and high quality home individually designed to make the most idyllic setting. Built with style, comfort and open plan living in mind, Cot Cottage retains a traditional cottage style on the outside, while the interior offers luxury surprises.The property commands a 180 degree view to the east towards Screel Hill, Bengairn and Skiddaw in the Lake District. No matter what direction you look out of Cot Cottage - you are guaranteed stunning views.

The cottage is set in 11 acres of peaceful countryside with a private loch and unspoilt grounds. There is abundant wildlife to spot and plenty of activities to enjoy, with stunning walks and cycle rides straight from the door. Kirkcudbright is a 10 minute drive and Castle Douglas is a 15 minute drive.

Please note that we only accept a minimum 7 night stay in July and August unless last minute.

Dog Friendly

Up to 3 dogs are permitted in the property. All house rules apply: keep off the soft furnishings, clean dogs before entering, clean up after fouling.

Kitchen diner. Seating for 10. Dolce Gusto coffee machine, American style fridge freezer.Separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Dining Room

The dining room is within the kitchen/living area with a table that is big enough to seat 10 easily.

Sitting Room

There are 2 sitting rooms,one upstairs and one downstairs. Both have large televisions (downstairs 65 inch) and Sky TV with full Sky Sports package.

TV and Music Facilities

Flat screen TVs throughout the property. We also have two sound bars which have Bluetooth and a portable Bluetooth speaker for use near hot tub.

Games Room

There is no games room.

Heating and Open Fires

There is central heating and also air conditioning units.

Bedrooms

1 superking, 3 king, 1 twin room all have TVs And hairdryer. There are also electric towel rails for drying your towels

Linen

Linen for your beds is provided and the beds are made up for your arrival. 20 Bath towels and 4 hand towels (one per bathroom) are also provided.

Bathrooms

There are 2 bathrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. Only 1 bedroom downstairs is not en suite.

Booking Information

Midweek pricing is based on a 4 night stay. 3 night minimum stay at weekends. August is a minimum 7 night stay unless last minute. Changeover days are Friday and Monday. The base price is the price from. High Season will be up to £3200 per week.
