This pretty group of cottages is a great option for multi generational families and friends wishing to get together for a holiday or weekend away. Set between Dartmoor and Exmoor and only 30 minutes from North Devon beaches and the coastal path, there are plenty of opportunities within easy reach for walking, cycling and exploring. The on site tennis court and croquet lawn provide entertainment for youngsters and extra fun for the grown ups. All the cottages have their own gardens with seating and barbecue areas. Set in 4 acres, visitors will relish the surrounding countryside and lovely views.

The cottages have well equipped kitchens and each has inside dining for the number of guests, with Honeycomb able to seat 16. It is also possible to gather in one of the of the 5 private gardens for a barbecue with other members of your group. Traditional original feature beams create cosy lounges where you can relax next to a wood burning stove and catch up with loved ones.

Bedrooms are a handy mix of kings, doubles, singles and bunks to suit everyone in the group. Pretty soft furnishings make for comfortable places to unwind at the end of a day out. Bathroom facilities are plentiful.

Extras are available too to make your stay even more relaxing - breakfast and BBQ hampers are offered, babysitting too, and we can provide a taxi or minibus service for transfers and excursions. Events can be catered too - please ask for details.

There's plenty to do nearby. The north Devon coast is renowned for fabulous sandy beaches - perfect for families. More energetic days out might include a trip on the well known Tarka Trail, a walking and cycling route covering 130 miles and starting just over half an hour from away, or a round of golf at one of many courses nearby. Pretty villages between the Torridge and Taw Valleys are great opportunities to discover country pubs and recommended eateries. Gardeners will love RHS Rosemoor, and the Dartington glass factory is an interesting day out.
