Set between Dartmoor and Exmoor, and only 30 minutes from North Devon beaches and the coastal path, there are plenty of opportunities nearby for walking, cycling and beach days. Sleeps up to 18 with exclusive use of 3 cottages: Honey Dew and Honeycomb are interconnected to sleep 16 Honey Dew sleeps 10 Honeycomb sleeps 6 Honeyberry sleeps 2 The cottages have well equipped kitchens and Honeycomb is able to seat 16 for dining together. Traditional original feature beams create cosy lounges where you can relax next to a wood burning stove. Set in a total of 4 acres, with lovely views of surrounding countryside, each cottage has a private garden with seating and barbecue area. Or gather in one of the gardens for a barbecue with other members of your group. The on-site tennis court and croquet lawn provide entertainment for youngsters and adults alike. There's also a barn with a bar, and kitchen area with electricity, sinks and wood-fired pizza ovens, which can be used for group dining and events, either on a self catering basis or catered if you prefer. The venue is fully licensed for alcohol and for weddings. Bedrooms are a handy mix of kings, doubles, singles and bunks to suit every type of group. Comfortable places to unwind at the end of a day out. Bathroom facilities are plentiful. Extras are available too to make your stay super relaxing - breakfast and BBQ hampers are offered, babysitting too, and we can provide a taxi or minibus service for transfers and excursions. There's plenty to do nearby. The north Devon coast is renowned for fabulous sandy beaches - perfect for families. More energetic days out may take guests to the well known Tarka Trail, a walking and cycling route covering 130 miles and starting just over half an hour from away, or for a round of golf at one of many courses nearby. Pretty villages between the Torridge and Taw Valleys are home to many lovely country pubs and recommended eateries.
