With easy access to Drogheda and the Boyne Valley, to Dublin City and surrounding counties, The Cottages Ireland are readily accessible by car, ferry or plane.

Superbly located for a dream holiday in Ireland whether for golf, garden visits, fishing, walking, heritage or just to relax, this is the ideal get away location. Dog Friendly

Much as we love them, alas we are not dog friendly.

Accessibility

Our cottages are 300 years old so we do not have full disabled facilities but a choice of ground floor cottages are available providing easy access.

WiFi

Highspeed WiFi in each cottage.

Kitchen

Fully equipped farm house kitchens, with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Nespresso.

Dining Room

Each cottage has it's own dining area, ranging from 2 to 12 at separate tables. Our local restaurants are happy to accommodate large family groups.

Sitting Room

All have open plan living rooms with original features and log effect stoves, many with beautiful sea views or garden views.

TV and Music Facilities

Flat screen TVs with Free Sat satellite TV and DVD players.

Heating and Open Fires

Gas fired central heating throughout each cottage with individually controlled radiators. Living rooms have gas fired log effect Jutol stoves.

Bedrooms

Our bedrooms are all different in character and style but all comfortable and fully furnished. Mix of doubles and twins.

Linen

Linen supplied at no extra charge. House keeping twice weekly with full change of towels and linen included.

Bathrooms

Luxury bathrooms with extra large power showers, double ended baths, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, hair dryers, bathrobes and slippers.

Children's Facilities

Organic gardens gated by beach and road with children's play area consisting of swings, tree house, thatched Wendy house, toys, buckets and spades +.

Outdoor

Private, gated, landscaped organic flower gardens with pedestrian access to the beach. Individual and communal barbecue areas around the gardens.

Swimming Pool

Excellent, safe sea swimming right on your doorstep, doesn't get much closer No swimming pool, but Water World is 15 minutes drive away in Drogheda.

Parking

Private, gated, secure parking at The Cottages. Complimentary EV Charging.

Smoking

No smoking please. Outside only, ash pots convenient.

Booking deposit is 1/3 of the rental with balance due 10 weeks prior to arrival date. Group rates available on request – 3 night minimum stay.

Location

From the South or North on the M1 motorway: Exit 7 South Drogheda/Laytown. Next to the beach, and only 25 minutes from Dublin.

Drogheda on the Boyne is a 10 minute drive or taxi ride.
Bettystown and Laytown Villages are a short 5 minute stroll by beach or road from The Cottages, or a 2 minute drive. Supermarkets and full services.
Pubs, restaurants and cafes to be found in both Bettystown and Laytown.
Dublin Airport 25 minute drive.
Laytown Railway Station.
Matthews Coach Service 5 minute walk. Bus Eireann National Bus Service 2 minute walk.
